Good 47º clear and gonna be hot today morning.
This is hilarious. From LASD's Lomita Station posted by
Chris Miller (ret LASD and LASD Museum Director)
Did you know that section 22514 of the California Vehicle Code states that
you cannot park within 15 feet of a fire hydrant? Regardless of weather or not
the curb is painted red you still cannot park your vehicle within 15 feet of a
hydrant. The reason for this is if your vehicle is parked close to a hydrant,
you create an obstacle for the firefighters and their hoses in the event of a
life threatening emergency. So if you see a fire hydrant, steer clear and find
another parking spot...even if the fire hydrant is dressed like a minion.
OMG, saw this on Bob Klamm's FB page. THIS is Bruiser! I was
laughing soooooooooooooo hard! Thanks for sharing Bob! I LOVE Simon's Cat!!!
PJ and I were off to the Rogue River to the hot rod show at noon .... We
had a great time. Music from the '50's and '60's was playing. Lots of memories
with both the cars and music. Had fun talking to folks there and saw our friend
Joan (works at the vets) and she entered her late husband's truck. Her friend
was there with their new Australian Shepherd pup. OMG. So fluffy and sweet.
Here is the Smilebox of some of the cars.... if you want to stop any of the
pictures just put your cursor over the picture and click the pause button that
will show up.... There is one car that is a combo of cars and had an
explanation, so you might want to stop the slide show and read it.....
After the Rod Show we went to Grants Pass to Safeway and did a bit of
shopping. Stopped at Taco Bell and PJ bought us "mango iced teas".
OMGOOOOOD!!!!! I told her they would be great with a little added rum. She went
home and did that and I added vodka to mine! ZOWIE! Will get another one of
those again soon!

It was fun. Thanks for going! xo
That cat video was a hoot! Does Bruiser really make a mess of your house like that? Funny!
Oh those old cars do bring back the memories. John and I started dating in Sept. of '59. Still remember those romantic songs. Much better than those of today!
Your friend Debbie has beautiful daughters. Lovely photo!

Yes, T, the Bruise does run around like a house of fire! I have Jerry's 1955 Chevy PU and I want to get it running. That would be fun to drive again. And yes, Debbie and her girls are all so pretty. xo
