Good 27º frozen morning.
Here is the Smilebox of Sami's birthday party. Sami and Tucker came home from swimming lessons and had lunch.... Jen had decorated the front yard with tables of snacks and cakes. She made horses for each of the children from socks yarn and poles, had a table where they could name their horse and make a tag and get a Certificate of Adoption. I found and printed out a picture of Brian on a horse. They used to bring them through the neighborhood. I think he was about 3 years old. The 'horse ladies' showed up and Sami and Tucker got to 'test ride' before all the kids got there. After riding for an hour and a half, there was birthday cake, Sami wore Jen's riding hat, and then they had a piñata. After the piñata there was a riding obstacle course where they had to walk a balance beam, toss a carrot into a box, gallop to the next carrot and toss it onto a circle, ride around the circle, and back to the start. They were timed. Winners got silver platters! After the real horses left Atlas got to come out. He found a carrot right away! When everyone left we put everything away. Sami dressed up in some of the decorations and then opened presents. Bob gave her an "Atlas" puppy, dressy dress, and a two wheel scooter.
