Power On ~ Sunday Football ~ Waffle Grilled Cheese ~ Driving to Town

Good 33º snow still on the ground morning.

YIPPEEEEE.... all my family & friends electricity has been restored. 4 days is a long time! Now life will go back to what has been planned. Things you take for granted... turning on the coffee pot, watching TV, games and FB on your computer, showers, and flushing the toilet. City folks don't understand this, but in the boonies when your electricity goes off your electrical powered well pump doesn't work! Having a standby supply of water is good, or you can melt the snow on your wood stove to use to flush. Makes life interesting! Glad that tense time for all involved is over. Welcome back to the world Jeannie & Bill!!

Sunday Football:
Patriots 23 Jaguars 16 (WHOOT WHOOT!)

Colts 20 Chiefs 13 (YEAH for Brian's team!)
Dolphins 24 Bills 10 (YEAH for Alex's team!) (Sorry Billy!)
:o( sorry Kristen re your Jets .... Chargers 27 Jets 17
Seahawks 42 49ers 13 (Sorry Jeannie)
Ravens 33 NY Giants (LOL) 14 !!!
Bears 28 Cardinals 13
Broncos 34 Browns 12
Panthers 17 Raiders (LOL) 6
Packers 55 (wow) Titans 7
Saints 34 Cowboys 31

Lunch yesterday was a grilled cheese sandwich, cooked in the waffle iron. Mmmmmmmmmmm !!! Butter both sides of the bread as you would for grilling in a pan. I use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray. (Or as the daily drivel gals call it.. "ICBINB") You have to make sure the cheese is tucked inside the edges of the bread or it tends to run out. Just take the waffle iron apart, let it sit under cold running water, and the cheese lifts right off.

Sue,
So many appreciate your blog and all the work that goes into it. I save it for last in the morning after seeing my other email. I like to take my time and check it all out.
You know, I have never seen the entire frame of your big gate. I think you need a big sign up at the top that says "BAR M" or something like that. It just screams for a sign! :)
Love the tour thru your route thru the snow. Looks like in town it had melted already.
So glad to hear everyone's power is back on! How awful to go thru that at this time of year. Worse part is that you missed two parties right here at Christmas!!:(
Just hope most had somebody's house to visit and stay for those days.

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!

XO Trisha

Wow, this is great! We have a computer. That was some "adventure" the last four days, but we got through it, just like everyone else. Really makes you be thankful for what you have.
Thanks for taking the time for your blog, I have lots to catch up on.
Grilled Cheese in your waffle iron sure looked yummy. Of course, if cheese is involved, I'm certainly in.
What a sad game last night. The Seahawks are brutal!
Thanks for welcoming us back. Now off to the laundry room I go.
Merry Christmas BFF! Chat later. xo
