Good 43º morning. Burrr... Stayed in the 80º's but tomorrow will go back up
to the 90º's.
The shooting in New York and the fate of Lance Armstrong is all so
depressing.
If you are my age you will enjoy this interlude that will take you back..
It's about 10 minutes, so pour a cup of coffer or a wine. (Thanks Jon Harting,
Wilson '64, for sharing!)
Yesterday I headed to Medford and stopped at:
for some of their coffee. I got Archer Farms Caramel Apple, Tiramisu (my
favorite and it's only in certain times so I always buy a couple) and Dunkin'
decaf and a Dunkin Cinnamon Spice. Mmmmmm......
I also bought Archer Farms Vegetable basmati rice with garam marsala
(Indian spice mix ... black & white peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, black
& white cumin seeds, and black brown & green cardamom pods) and..
coconut cashew basmati rice. Both can be microwaved as a quick side. Also
purchased Jasmine rice, Creamy Parmesan & Mushroom Radiatore (mmmm),
'veggie' penne... made with lemon juice, tomato & carrot puree.
And last but not least, some creamy basil pesto sauce and Giada De
Laurentiis' marinara with artichokes.
Then to:
for lunch with Joanie. Been awhile since we have chatted. Thanks Joanie,
good to see you. I am wishing you success with your yard sales this and next
weekend!
Joanie had coconut shrimp
and I had the shrimp Caesar salad. OMGOOD!
Then to:
for fruit (bananas, apples, half a pineapple, strawberries) and veggies
(spinach, celery, tomatoes, carrots) ... and soy milk and Greek yogurt ... all
for my new 'monster' blender.
Then to:
for wildbird seed, a deer lick, and nyjer seed.
