Good 50º clear and sunny morning. Hot yesterday but rain predicted and a
huge drop to cooler temps through the weekend.
Jen delivered my granddog, Atlas, yesterday afternoon... he'll be staying a
week....
(Kinda hard to get a good picture while in my recliner ...)
And I have renamed Casper (the ghost) to 'Baby'.... since that seems to be
what I call her and she comes back for chow in the daytime ....
Wish I had my camera with me when I looked out back last evening... there
was Mr. Raccoon! He is so darned cute!!! He was just sitting and looking at me.
Then off he ran!
Maggie and I went to get the mail and Ms. Doe was resting in the shade of
the tractor shed....
A birthday today.... special friend, Barbara Voors. (wife of LASD ret
Steve... Temple, SEB, ELA.... ) HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARB! I hope you have a wonderful
celebration! xo

National Peaches and Cream Day
When I was growing up we had a freestone peach tree in our backyard. THE
BEST peaches ever! Daddy said it was planted by a bird!
