Good 33º wet and cloudy snow on the mountain morning.
From yesterday late until this morning we got nearly an inch. My weather station says 86/100ths ....
I have to tell you, my daughter is one talented girl! She made a desk for Jack out of a basketball backboard! It's awesome.
I went to the dentist (always a good chat with Liz, the tooth scrubber!), market, and hardware store and came home. I was hungry so I made some of my own recipe for 'trail mix'... this is a good snack. I keep a bowl on my computer desk and it's good for snacking while watching TV.
1 cup each of the Cheerios, about 1/2 cup cut up mango. I used kitchen shears to cut up 1 cup apples and 1 cup apricots. Then I added a handful of dried cranberries and a handful of dried blueberries and lastly a cup of macadamia nuts.
My 'friends' hanging out...showing off for the girls!

The K-9's brought tears to my eyes. You are so right, "God love them all"!
Your creative trail mix looks really good. Nice healthy snack.
You know, to me, turkeys are so not attractive, even though they think they are. LOL
Very impressive with the desk. Jack is a lucky boy to have such a special and talented Mom.
Dinner, looking good!
Have a wonderful day. Chat later. xo

Sue...Fixed talapia last night and made your cilantro,
pineapple, salsa to top it. It was FANTASTIC!!! Never
tasted fish so good. So, now it will be a favorite here.
I had cilantro, had pineapple, and used Costcos hot
tomato salsa instead of the jalapenos. Unbelivable.
Thanks for the tip. Cyndi
Oh Cyndi, how great!!! Thanks!!! xo
@ Jeannie.... you are right about our soldiers and their faithful companions! Tears me up too! Jack isn't the only lucky one.... she's my daughter and I am Blessed! xo
AWWW What wonderful photos of the Marines and the K9's. Yes, God bless them and keep them safe.
WOW! Your Kristen is as talented as your daughter in law! That desk is awesome! Lucky Jack!

We love them all.. Marines, Army, Navy, Seals, Coast Guard! And, thanks for the compliments T!! ox
the turkeys are so beautiful - and like to show off - loved the pic with you and Jerry at the wedding and Sandy also - so darn cute!! your food always looks so good, and yummy....I don't bother that much for me unless I have company, beautiful weather down this way - yesterday and today....some wind - but been outside mostly trying to do some "catch up" with the yard work....my desert turtles are out so here come the snakes...hate them!! I love having the daylight until almost 7 pm, can get so much more accomplished - not an inside person - when the weather is nice I much rather be outside doing anything.... yes your daughter is quite crafty - did a great job on the table and chair, I am sure you have lots of the same qualities. hope you are feeling good as well as the four legged kids...take care - N
