Yesterday we started off cloudy....
We topped at 79º

It holds the distinction of having one of the most unusual names, but there is a reason why No Name, Colorado, has such a catchy title. The desolate, unincorporated community is amid two natural areas bearing the same name: No Name Canyon and No Name Creek.

Angela, in Texas, has two boys with big appetites for casseroles, so she came up with this recipe for Two Boys Casserole. It combines all of their favorites into one meaty and hearty dish. We bet everyone at the table will be pleased to find the creamy, beefy goodness underneath that layer of crispy potato tots!
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (12-ounce) package frozen peas
- 1 (10-3/4-ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese, divided
- 1 (30-ounce) package frozen potato tots, thawed
- Preheat oven to 375º. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef, onion, salt, and pepper until meat is browned. Add peas and stir. Add soup, milk, sour cream, and 1 cup of cheese; stir to combine.

OMGOSH, so interesting!
Our Senior Leadership class in high school went to Pepperdine University to see President Eisenhower receive an honorary degree. I got to shake his hand. OMG, he seemed larger than life and his hands were HUGE! He was very pleasant.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

National Emergency Nurse’s Day on the second Wednesday in October recognizes the dedication of ER nurses across the nation and it takes place during Emergency Nurses Week. We take this day to say “thank you” to the emergency room nurses for their hard work, dedication, service, and commitment. As they provide unwavering care to their patients and families, their loyalty to the emergency nursing profession does not go unnoticed.
Emergency room nurses are the first people we see when we have an accident or a medical emergency. They work hard to put us at ease and eliminate pain and discomfort. The day encourages us to let them know just how important they are in keeping hospitals running smoothly.
According to the CDC, per 100 persons, 45.8 visits were recorded. Since the ER nurse will be the first to see the patient, their training means the utmost to the patient. Most ER nurses earn a degree as a Registered Nurse. Beyond their degree program, many nurses continue their training, advancing their skills and improving their knowledge of the ever-changing medical field. Some will specialize as well.
Statistics on ER nurses a difficult to find. However, there are over 3 million RNs in the U.S. workforce today.
NATIONAL EMERGENCY NURSE’S DAY HISTORYSponsored by the Emergency Nurses Association since 1989, this day is part of Emergency Nurse’s Week.

Happy you are back up and running! I'm sure we all missed your blog every morning! This one is especially interesting!
I loved reading about the favorite food of the presidents! I can't even imagine peanuts being President Trump's favorite food! No wonder he's so healthy! Nuts are very good for you.
The next one that amazes me is the "Honest" tea that Obama likes! HA! It did not work for him!! lol
Next I can't believe how boring Nixon was!! Cottage cheese as a favorite food???
I wonder how they found out this info??
Ironic that you got to shake the hand of Eisenhower and I shook the hand of Nixon! He was the VP at the time. Went to the same church.
I will copy that recipe and call mine "Four Boys Casserole"! :)
