Interesting about the name Kermit...
The name Kermit came to prominence through Kermit Roosevelt (October 10, 1889 – June 4, 1943 was an American businessman, soldier, explorer, and writer.) , the eldest son of President Theodore Roosevelt,
named for Robert Kermit, a maternal great-uncle. The character Kermit the Frog was introduced in 1955 by Jim Henson, and made the name known internationally through the television programs Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. Kermit was a Top 500 name until the 1960s, not coincidentally the decade in which Kermit the Frog became well known, proving that it isn't easy being green, even for a name.
2 8oz cans Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 pound spicy or mild bulk pork sausage
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 375º.
Unroll one can of dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9 inch glass baking dish. Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust.

Also celebrating today is my pals Jeannie & Bill Patterson's (LASD ret) dog Chaka. She has the same date and birth year as Sami! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAKA!!! xo

You certainly have a lot of ironic birthdays in your family!
Today was my dad's birthday too.
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SAMI!! What happened to her blonde hair?? I was sad when my toe head Kevin's hair turned brown but still has golden highlights.
Didn't those girls bring a jacket? That was a cold day.
My favorite pie is banana cream. Well, other than my Aunt Skeeter's Arkansas Chocolate Pie. :)
XOXO Trisha
Happy Heavenly birthday to your dad, T. The blonde hair in this family tends to go brown. Nobody wore a jacket, but me!!! xo
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Smart lady!! What is WRONG with people to go out in a tee shirt when it's in the low 50's?? Adults should know better! I am always harping at Matthew to take a jacket even when he's wearing a sweatshirt.
Back in the day I remember being in a restaurant for dinner and my mother was the only one who brought a sweater. We all fought over it! She always told us "It doesn't cost anything to take a wrap".
Ever since then I always do even in the summer because inside places they can crank up the AC until it's cold.
Hugs, Trisha
