Christmas Fog ~ Christmas ~ Christmas Eve ~ Angelina Jolie Tats ~ Marie Maxwell ~ National Whiner's Day

Good day after Christmas. This morning it was dark and foggy and 33º.

Fortunately Christmas day we did get an occasional peek at the blue sky and some sun after the fog....
This is downtown Grants Pass yesterday morning....

And the drive to Brian's house......

When I left Brian's at noon this was the cloudy sky.....

And back home some blue!

Of course yesterday was Christmas and here are a few photos from Brian's house with Sami, Tucker, Dash, etc....

 Jean, Jen's mom.....................
And Kristen, Jack, and Alex at their house yesterday................

Christmas Eve we went to Jean's house for dinner.......

Tucker was playing a game on the pinball machine and Dash was watching......

Interesting about Angelina Jolie Pitt...
Angelina Jolie is a famous actress with a serious love for tattoos. Among her estimated 20 tattoos is a 12-inch long Bengal Tiger tattoo on her lower back. It was done in Bangkok in 2004, during a 2 hour session by tattoo artist Sompong Kanhphai who also blessed it by chanting an ancient hymn. This tattoo was chosen to celebrate her Cambodian citizenship and was made in traditional Thai style using a manual needle. The tattoo was designed to match the existing Cambodian tattoo Jolie had on her left shoulder blade, which she got when she adopted her son Maddox in Cambodia.

When she was married to Billy Bob Thornton she had is name and a dragon tattooed on her arm. After the divorce she had that removed and replaced it with a list of the birthplaces and latitude/longitudes of her children.

Today a special birthday.. my step-son Aaron's bride Marie Chris is celebrating. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIE!!! xo

If you want to, you are allowed to whine about being too tired, overeating, having to go back to work, having so much to clean up or the long lines in the return aisle at the store.  December 26 is National Whiners Day.
There is one thing the creator of this day hoped people across the country would not be whining about; this day is not intended for whining about what you did not get for Christmas and what you do not have but to remember all that you do have.
Many people are less fortunate than others. Some are struggling to put food on the table or a roof over their heads; some may not have family and friends. Another family may not have had one gift under the tree. Others may be fighting disease and illnesses, and some may have coped with all of these.  You may want to whine about something (and today you are allowed) but remember to be thankful for each gift you did receive and all that you do have.  (And help others when you can,)
HISTORY
Rev. Kevin Zaborney created National Whiners Day in 1986 in hopes of encouraging people to be thankful for what they have instead of being unhappy “whining” about what they do not have.

It looks like you and family had a great Christmas. Love the photo of Dash all dressed up for the day.

As always ours was wonderful! As an only child I always wanted a large family. Well the Lord blessed me with one.

Now comes to putting away so many things.
