Good 25º slightly hazy morning. The haze is probably from the Paradise fire, according to the weather person on TV.
Well, we just had a power outage. It only lasted about 10 minutes and by the time I got the power company's number and got on line with my landline phone to talk to someone there was a 30 minute wait to talk to anyone! OMG. So, hung up and then the power came back on. Then it went off again for about 45 minutes. Took and hour and a half to get the internet working! Jeannie said their power was out in Grants Pass and in Pickett Creek. Brian also said power was out around Grants Pass (his office) but not at his house. This will be interesting to find out what caused all this!!

I posted this picture on the Rogue River FB page and it generated about 40 comments, mostly negative about "chem trails". Some heated discussion on there!
And by 9:10 am the sun still hadn't come over the mountain yet!

Cheesy Chicken Bundles....
- 2 (5-ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained and flaked
- 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
- Preheat oven to 350º. In a medium-sized bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, scallions, and pepper; mix well.
- Separate crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles, pressing together two triangles for each rectangle. Place a quarter of chicken mixture onto each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of each together, forming bundles, and seal all edges.
- Place on a baking sheet that has been coated with cooking spray and bake 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden.
These are a great simple way to make what flips your skirt. You could add flavors that you like... taco seasoning, Italian seasoning, shallots instead of green onions, a few pieces of cooked vegetables, or bacon bits. You could also make them with canned salmon and add in some lemon zest.

National Pickle Day is observed annually on November 14. It may be a Dill, Gherkin, Cornichon, Brined, Kosher Dill, Polish, Hungarian, Lime, Bread and Butter, Swedish and Danish, or Kool-Aid Pickle. Whichever is your choice, eat them all day long.
The term pickle comes from the Dutch word pekel, meaning brine. In the United States, the word pickle typically refers to a pickled cucumber.
– Each year in the United States, 5,200,000 pounds of pickles are consumed.
– Pickles are a great snack, low in calories and a good source of vitamin K, though they can be high in sodium.
– When served on a stick at festivals, fairs or carnivals, pickles are sometimes known as “stick pickles”.
– A rising trend in the United States is deep-fried pickles which have a breading or batter surrounding the pickle spear or slice.
– For thousands of years, pickles have been a popular food dating back to 2030 B.C. At that time, cucumbers were imported from India to the Tigris Valley where they were first preserved and eaten as pickles.
– Cleopatra attributed her good looks to her diet of pickles.
– Julius Caesar fed pickles to his troops believing that they lent physical and spiritual strength.
I remember way back when, there used to be pickle barrels in the store and you could pick out a big fat dill pickle! Oh yummmmmm!

GOOD morning. Contrails or chemtrails? All life is made up of chemicals. The lady in your 'lessons learned in life' meme would know how to process info.
I should like extend the holiday by subbing left-over smoked turkey chunks for the chicken in the bundle recipe. Maybe add in a bit of spinach?
Do you suppose George Patton was born so George C? Scott could portray him on-screen?
I shall hop over later to see your friend's bog. Today, I breathe deeper. I wasn't certain how it would feel in the morning, walking upstairs for the first time since March31, 2016. It felt good.
Blessings
The hot jet exhaust and the cold air cause the contrails, not chemicals! Yes, your Thanksgiving additives to the crescent roll bundles sounds good L. xo
Today is also our sweet darlin Becky Bowler's birthday too. She is such a kind and caring sweetheart. We are so fortunate to have her in our family.
John, III also posted a photo of the contrails on a Diamond Bar FB page. He got into it with all kinds of people who said the government was spraying us with chemicals! They won't let their kids go outside to play! So stupid! I had never heard that conspiracy theory until then! :(
XO Trisha
Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BECKY! Yes, T, the "chem trails" theory is total stupidity. Had we been sprayed with chemicals as they say, we'd all be dead!!! xo
