Did you know that the deadliest animal isn't a shark or even a snake! Most
of the deaths caused by animals, it turns out, have less to do with the animals
themselves than the diseases they transmit.
Mosquitos, the pesky bugs that suck blood and transmit viruses from person
to person are responsible for the most animal-related deaths. According to the
World Health Organization, about 725,000 people are killed yearly by mosquito
born diseases. Malaria alone affects 200 million, of which an estimated 600,000
die.

I am mad as hell with Robert Kraft and 12 of the Patriots players!!!!!!!
Kraft, being a Trump supporter, decided he didn't like what Trump said about all
players should stand for the National Anthem or be fired. 12 of those
idiot players did not stand, and all of the Texan players stood!!! The Patriots
fans boooooooed the kneelers!
I have always loved my Patriots, but this is heartbreaking. Tommy stood
with other players, showing respect! What the heqq is wrong with Kraft????
Sooooooooooooo......... I wrote a letter to Robert Kraft (will share later)
and sent a copy to President Trump. Standing by.....................
Last night late I had a call from Gary Hyman. He told me his wife, Tammy,
passed away early in the morning. Tammy was only 62 years old and had been
hospitalized for pneumonia a week before. She wanted to come home. She was
brought home Saturday and died Sunday morning.
Tammy
and Gary became the parents of a black lab
"Big Stuff", as I named him, who was
found by PJ on an I-5 off ramp in Gold Hill, I picked him up and brought him
home and searched for his owner. Why anyone would abandon a dog like this was
beyond my imagination. A real beauty! I was due for back surgery and really
couldn't take on another dog, so Tammy wanted him and Janie Alden and I took him
half way to Modesto to Redding where Tammy and Gary picked him up.
He couldn't have a better home! Jaco
loves him too.
Tammy and Gary's son Guerin passed away
a couple years ago and Tammy was constantly heartbroken. She never ever regained
her happiness. Her son was constantly in her thoughts. Gary now has Sideways
(formerly Big Stuff) and Jaco and his daughter Stephani. RIP Tammy. My heart
breaks for Gary and Stephani.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

September 25th
National Lobster Day
The easiest
way to cook lobster was taught to me by my nephew Jimmy who had been a cook at a
restaurant for a time in Tahoe..... pull the meat out of the shell by making a
cut down the entire length of the shell on top.
Put the meat
on top of the shell, brush with clarified butter and sprinkle with
paprika.
Bake at 400º for 15-18 minutes. PERFECT!!!
