Good 53º a few wispy clouds morning.
Yesterday watering got done. At 9:30 it was still nice... 72º
inside and 72º outside. Still another gloomy day, as the clouds and heavy
smoke kept the sun away. By 1pm it was only 79º. No AC on either. Nice for a
change. Topped at 92º.
Breakfast was two eggs cooked in the microwave and topped with
Parmesan, a sardine (left over from the other day's snack) and green beans. I
know. I eat weird breakfasts!
After some of the watering Dude and I took a quick ride into town to pick up my prescription at the drive-up window. Back home for more watering. I looked out and here was a robin
taking a shower in the rainbird sprinkler! He was spreading his wings and
shaking and then rubbing in the grass. I left the water on until he was
done.
This is good, easy, and good for you!

Well, my friend Carol, who had the shunt put in her brain to drain liquid to her stomach is back home after nearly a week in the hospital! Yeah! She said she's doing fine. With half of her head shaved she will be wearing a baseball cap she said, for awhile!
Glad you are doing good Carol!!! Love and hugs girl!!! xoxo
And another friend of mine, Cathy, lives in Acton
California... between San Fernando and Palmdale off the 14
freeway....
They had a super rain storm on Thursday that flooded a lot of the area.
She was lucky, with no damage to her home, but lot and lots of water... Her
friend's home was flooded with mud... They got 1½" in 30 minutes! Cathy did say
her two tortoises were happy with the water! Cathy's pictures:
Glad you are OK Cathy!!!! xoxo

I ate the last of my chocolate covered salted soft caramel candies. OMGOSH,
they are such heaven. Then I couldn't remember where I bought them...since I
ordered them on line...
so I went to my checking/savings/credit card account and in the search
window typed in "candy" and bingo there was the charge to my account. YEAH!
These are the BEST ever! Hand made in Portland by this company:
They are soft and chewy. OMG. I ordered more. :o)
Later for dinner it was Omaha Steaks Italian Style Chicken Tenders
atop some fresh spinach with garlic dipping sauce (from Costco), mac vegetables and
cheese, and dessert was a Schwans Caramel Pecan Cake ...
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.
