Good 52º clear sunny morning. Yesterday we topped at 97º.
Breakfast was a couple of those eggs I got at Costco sprinkled with Bacon
Salt,
JD's also has Baconaise, bacon flavored mayo that is AWESOME! They also
have bacon croutons and bacon popcorn!
... some fresh mozzarella snacks, leftover chicken fries, and a piece of
chicken thigh, Bacon Salt on that too!
Yesterday was haircut day. Went into GP to Leah's shop. I had let my hair
grow out a bit and was sure happy to get it cut!!!
Here is where the fire was Thursday on the I-5
It is all out and there is still some mop up on the road..
Downtown Grants Pass was horribly smokey...
and so was the rest of the valley coming back into Rogue River...
Before I left my neighbor, Maria called. She and her Gerard live way up the
hill from me.... where the grass is green....
Anyway, she said "someone" was up there. Turns out that Bruiser was sitting
in their yard looking around.... they have cats too, so he probably went for a
visit! He eventually came home, and slept the rest of the day!
Speaking of cats... I bought this sticker to put on my car, but
unfortunately it was designed to go on a white refrigerator and my dark red car
wouldn't work. So, I put it on the cupboard...
No room on the fridge.... covered with pictures of family and friends!
Today is a very special birthday... one of my BFFs, Patty Kuehl.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLFRIEND!!! I hope your day is GREAT~~~~ xooxoxooxx

Now this is one terminally crazy idiot....
This is good.... another drunk!
A clearly
inebriated woman, stark naked, jumped into a taxi in New York City and laid on
the back seat.
The cab driver, an
old Jewish gentleman, opened his eyes wide and stared at the woman. He made no
attempt to start the cab. The woman glared back at him and said,
"What's wrong with
you, honey? Haven't you ever seen a naked woman before?"
The old Jewish
driver answered, "Let me tell you sumsing, lady. I vasn't staring at you like
you tink; det vould not be proper."
The drunk woman
giggled and responded, "Well, if you're not staring at my boobs or my butt,
sweetie, what are you doing then?"
He paused a moment,
then told her..."Vell, M'am, I am looking and I am looking, and I am tinking to
myself, vair in da hell is dis lady keeping de money to pay for dis
ride?"
Now, that's a
businessman!
I stopped at the
post office for a package that was "bacon flavoring" I had ordered from
Australia.
Original flavor,
Cheesy, Smokey BBQ, and Spicy....
Of course I stuck
my finger in each jar to taste it...OMGOOODNESS, what awesome bacon flavor.
Can't wait to cook with it!
Dinner was
Schwans..... microwave heated frozen peas and pork egg rolls with sweet spicy
sauce...
I also had a NY
Cheesecake (Omaha Steaks) for dessert. I know you will notice a bite missing in
the picture. Couldn't help myself, needed a taste!!! SOOOOOOOOOO good.... all of
it!!! Will order more of those egg rolls. Take out of freezer, wrap loosely in
paper towels and cook in microwave 1½ minutes~! Taaaaa daaaaa......
All I know. Nuff
said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.
