Good 56º clear sunny morning
Yesterday our temps climbed to 95º and I watered front lawn
and back.... Supposed to cool down a bit for the next few days to the 80ºs and
then zoom to triple digits by Sunday.
I was bad, breakfast was a splurge (again) ... lemon cake topped with
whipped cream, and strawberries. OINK!!! Well, you know... I didn't want the strawberries to go bad.
It was looking like a disagreement between one of the crows and several
turkey vultures up in my pasture! The crow kept dive-bombing the vulture sitting
on the tree stump....
The little doe was back up here in the yard and then later laying in the
shade down by the barn...
I did get some vegetable items ordered from Schwans... which
will be delivered today. I love their micro steam green beans:
and I also got some corn, fresh that has been cut off the cob:
, and some fresh green peas:

All are fresh frozen and can be cooked in the oven or microwave. So tasty,
fresh, and easy! AND they don't spoil if you haven't used them right away like
fresh do!
Lunch was a "guacamolé" pizza. Actually I heated a pita slice for 30
seconds in the microwave, slathered it with guacamolé, topped with Parmesan
cheese, and tomatoes.
OMGOOOOD! And messy!!!!

Later in the morning I went into town to the post office to pick up a
package. When I got home I noticed the older gentleman, Ralph, across the road
struggling with his trash container. He uses a cane and is quite crippled up. I
ran across the road and helped him buy putting the can down by his house.
You can see here by looking down his driveway how close he is to the
road:
He was going to put it into the back of his pick up truck, but no way could
he stand with a cane and lift it! Then he told me a couple nights ago some
valuables were stolen from inside his truck. About $1500 worth. Don't know why
he left it unlocked, but........................ The police think it's a couple
young guys who live on Earhardt Road and are always walking and wearing hoodies.
I keep EVERYTHING up here locked even though I am quite a ways off the road. I also
have motion control lights and a big dog who barks. Oh, and guns!!!!
Yesterday, since it was Martini Day I made one for me....
Dirty Sue olive juice mix, vodka, Daddy's shaker, Mediterranian stuffed olives,
LASD shot glass, and my "tipsy" wine glass:
Mmmmmmm............ sooooooooo good!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.
