Yesterday I was in my bathroom and look who was on the fence watching
me....
Recently the Nevada Legislature paid tribute to the Veterans groups in their state. My "son", Jim Forbus, former LASD, and retired from Washoe Co Sheriff's Dept and his bride Dawn work tirelessly for the Honor Flight. That is Jim second from left..
There is a recipe called Spotted Dog, an Irish Soda Bread with raisins. There is also a British Pudding with a kinda similar name... Spotted Dick. Really!
Pal Edda and I were chatting about that on the phone and I
recalled we have a store up here called Dick's Sporting Goods. Well I saw this
sign and cracked up...
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh............. And that brings me to Jerry's nickname, along a
similar line....

You who worked with Jerry probably already know this.. Jerry was part
Cherokee.... And there is a story about an American Indian boy who asked his
father, "How did we get our names?" The father said, "Well, when a child is
born, the father goes into the teepee, picks up the child and goes outside and
the first thing he sees becomes the child's name... like your sister Fleeting
Deer and your brother Running Bear. Why do you ask Two Dogs F-cking?"
Jerry's name tag at the BC Range said "Two Dogs".... and now you know the
rest of the story!

My sister,
Marion, knew Peter. He had a house at Tahoe and her real estate office rented it

Yesterday I met Jennifer, Nancy, and Karen, at Taprock for lunch and to
celebrate Nancy's birthday.

Jennifer and Nancy shared a crab salad ....
Karen had a bowl of soup and I had a chicken wrap...
Out on Caveman Bridge the pigeons were grouping...
The bridge is scheduled for repairs and a good pressure washing. Will look
so much better. The bridge built in 1931 as the gateway to the Redwood Empire of
southwest Oregon and northern California.
Jennifer brought me a gift....
LOL!!!
Then later it was the other half of my lunch and more green wine, chair,
news,Chicago Med and Blue Bloods.
There is a show called Cheaters.... pretty disgusting and crazy as these
"detectives" follow unfaithful people at the wishes of the one being cheated on
and get video footage. Violent in some cases. Do not like it!

18, the 25th annual celebration of basketball and meat-on-a-stick known as
National Corndog Day.

the 2017 holiday just two weeks away, Corndog fans are eagerly visiting the National Corndog

Foster Farms coupons, register their local parties, and order corndog swag such
as commemorative t-shirts and posters.
Held
on the first Saturday of the men's college basketball tournament, National
Corndog Day was established in 1992 by two college students in Corvallis, Ore.
Since its founding, National Corndog Day has grown to include thousands upon
thousands of loyal, some might say rabid, fans across the United States and
around the globe.
"National
Corndog Day was founded on a simple premise: Watch basketball from morning 'til
night, eat corndogs and tater tots with friends and have fun," said Jeff
Bernius, who joined the corndog movement in 2000. "When National Corndog Day was
created, no one thought it would become so popular. But we should have known.
