Happy Throw Back Thursday....

Today is a special birthday, pal Dan Patz (LASD ret). HAPPY
BIRTHDAY DAN!!!! ox
Dan and his bride Judi at the LASD Laughlin Roundup last year.
Speaking of law enforcement, you have to watch this... the dumbest idiot in
the world:
Historically this date
1825 – After no presidential
candidate receives a majority of electoral
votes in the
election of 1824, the United
States House of Representatives elects John Quincy Adams President of
the United States.
1942
– Year-round Daylight saving
time is re-instated in the United States as a wartime
measure to help conserve energy resources.
1964 – The Beatles make their first
appearance on The Ed Sullivan
Show, performing before a "record-busting" audience of 73 million
viewers.
I
certainly remember that. Just about tossed out of bed at 6am. Jumped up to see
if Kristen was ok. Lay in bed with her to keep her calm. Brian due on the 22nd
but after that quake he decided to make his appearance early on the 14th! Lucy,
our collie, would stand up and look nervous just seconds before the next after
shock hit.
And
births this date include...
1942 – Carole King, American
singer
1943
– Joe Pesci, American
actor
....wow,
looking ragged!
1945 – Mia Farrow, American
actress
Very
odd life of having and adopting children and the problems the children had.
Strange woman!
Later I cooked 3 boneless skinless chicken thighs in some
chicken stock. Got them simmering and then turned the heat to low for about 5
hours.
Poured 2 jars of Alfredo sauce in the pan, added in the diced tomatoes,
chopped celery, broccoli slaw, and chopped chicken and stirred it well. Then
added the can of drained diced chilies.
Then I added in the noodles, and half a can of olives (because I ate half
the can after I opened it!!!) and let it heat through well.
Cooked the noodles. Mixed all the sauce, shredded thighs, chilies, and
noodles in a big pan and warmed thoroughly. Added in plenty of Lawry's Garlic Salt and Garlic Pepper.
SUPER SUPER SUPER GOOD!!!!! Oink.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT. Ciao.
