Good 42º foggy morning. Heard the rain about 1am. Don't know
how long it went, but over now and we got 1/4". There is certainly more on the
way... here's the current radar....
The sun came out yesterday... the break before the storm.
Nice!
Dude was a happy camper laying in the sun on the
porch!
The geese family (8 of them) showed up, had a bite of cracked corn to eat
when another group showed up. The second group landed in the upper pasture and
the family group went after them. GEESE FIGHT!
The one here on the left is chasing the
others....
Interesting how territorial they are.
Breakfast was non cooking.... a bowl of non fat plain Greek yogurt,
blueberries, banana, and a drizzle of Laney Whipped w/ Lemon Honey.
Laney Honey is family...

Yesterday I took Dude to the vet's for a mani/pedi. I was talking to a lady
who came in with a Borzoi, or Russian Wolfhound.
These dogs are so interesting. Hers is a rescue dog, 6 months old, and was
previously named Michael. Then I told her about Dude. She laughed and said she
is rescuing Michael's brother, a 3 year old Brozoi named Dude!!!
I bought this item, Final Touch Fill & Store from Amazon a few years ago. I like storing leftovers in zip bags in the fridge and freezer, as they take up less space. This makes filling the zip bags sooooooooooooo easy!
Just FYI. Good item!!!
Dinner was reruns of that super spaghetti I a made on Thursday. Chair,
wine, TV.... Code Black and Blue Bloods .... and a nap!!! LOL.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

The Day The Music Died
The Day the Music Died Day commemorates the untimely death of singers Buddy
Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper. These three Rock singers died in an
airplane crash on February 3, 1959. at the height of their popularity.
Every generation has their music idols. These three were among the top of
the 1950's generation. Those who grew up in the fifties mourned the premature
deaths of their music idols. Memorials and remembrances occurred for years.
Today, there are many websites memorializing their deaths, and detailing the
events before and after the tragedy.
Hearing these songs brings so many memories and gets me all teary-eyed!
