Rain ~ Throw Back Thursday ~ Microwaved Eggs ~ Cathy Norman ~ Popcorn Day

Good 36º raining morning.

So far the amount of rain from this storm is 1½" and still coming!
Yesterday the rain was hitting the windows and it made Dude nervous, he was barking!!!

Throw Back Thursday.... 1955 and a trip to Washington DC with my Mom and Dad. We climbed the stairs to the top of the Washington Monument and these pictures I took out each of the 4 windows with my little Brownie camera....

Breakfast.... microwaved eggs with Parmesan, avocado, and tomato. YUMMM...

Microwave safe dish, drizzle olive oil, two eggs with yolks poked with sharp knife, garlic salt, Parmesan cheese. Porcelain saucer on top of dish. Cook on high for 1 minute 10 seconds.

Yesterday I had a doc appointment in Medford and it was pouring rain. That wasn't so bad, it was the total idiots on the road!!!!
You'd think that Oregonads would be used to driving in the rain. NOT! Geeesh! And, no, I didn't take the picture!

Came home and heated the veggie pita I bought Monday.

SOOOO good; whole wheat pita, spinach, avocado, tomato, olives, mushrooms, jack cheese, with jalapeño ranch sauce. Mmmmmmmm.......

Today is a SPECIAL birthday... my friend, Cathy. She worked ELA Station when I was there. (taken at ELA in July 1998) HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHY!!!!!
