Rain/Fog ~ 10-4 ~ Halloween Shirt ~ Monday Night Football ~ Big Bad John ~ Yogurt ~ Becky Lundell ~ Tacos & Vodka

Good 49º rainy morning...

Rained on and off all day yesterday. We stayed about 55º  all day. Heater on!!!
10-4 in radio talk is "acknowledged" (or OK!)

I received my new Halloween shirt in the mail ...
                                                   LOL!!!

Last night's Monday Night Football:

Yesterday I was organizing.... stuff for a new project. In the early evening I was sitting in my chair playing solitaire on my iPad and listening to "Malt Shop Oldies" on the TV. On came Big Bad John by Jimmy Dean....
OMGOSH, I forgot how sad that song was. Loved it though. Wow, from 1961!!!

Lunch yesterday was non-fat plain yogurt (Greek), spinach, tomato, and Parmesan cheese.

After the stomach problems I had a week ago I did some research. Probiotics are the one helper for problems in your "gut". This is what the article said:
"Yogurt is one of the most familiar sources of probiotics. "Good bacteria" that keep a healthy balance in your intestinal tract. Studies have shown it can also help ease lactose intolerance. They also may help tame gas, diarrhea, and other digestive problems." So I started eating some yogurt and my stomach felt MUCHO better!!!

Today is a special birthday, Becky Lundell, bride of pal Greg (Wilson S'63). HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY!!!! Hope you have a wild and fun Illinois birthday party!!

National Taco Day

My favorite all time tacos were from King Taco, 3rd St/Ford Avenue, East LA. just down the street from ELA Station where I worked....

They made the BEST lengua tacos (beef tongue)!!! Probably still do.

Now they have more locations.

GOOD morning. I dont' remember the last time we served vodka, but there is a very good brand in our bar that gets pulled out to dilute and clean with. A little lemon essential oil and the scent makes cleaning fun.

The quality of life is in the details.

"Clean" with vodka? What a waste!
