Later yesterday I made some chicken noodle soup.
3 pounds cut up chicken boneless skinless thighs, 1 carton chicken stock,
4½ cups water, salt, pepper, 16 oz bag peeled mini carrots, 5 stalks celery
chopped, dried garlic, dried red onion, salt, pepper, and dried parsley flakes.
Cut up and sauté the chicken til browned in olive oil.
Add all ingredients, except egg noodles, to pot and either cook in crockpot
on low for 4-5 hours or in a pot on the stove on low-med for about 4 hours. The
egg noodles went into the pot and were submerged and cooked for about 4o
minutes. They were perfect. Soup was WONDERFUL!!!
Football Sunday... yes!
I tried really hard blowing the clouds from up here, south. It worked and
Linda had rain north of Sacramento, Kristen had rain in LA area, and Ed had a
little rain in Murietta!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy

relatives, in Scotland and Ireland!
A Gaelic Holiday celebrating the end of
harvest season and the beginning of winter. Celebrated by the Scottish and Irish
people.

Well thank you! Your rain made it all the way down here to So Cal! The timing of my kids was not good as they were at Disneyland yesterday and got rained on but they stuck it out and stayed until it stopped.
Thank you for the Isabella birthday shout out! She had a great day yesterday starting with us meeting them for a Disney breakfast! It was wonderful.

Yummy soup! Wish I could make some too. It's cold today and it would hit the spot. However, no cooking for me for quite sometime because of remodel.

We used to watch Brian's Song every year. Cried every time. Some things should not be so gotten used to that we forget how real love- in all its forms- is.
At 8:07 the first trick or treaters in 2 years rang the doorbell. Passing out candy was just as much fun as I remember.
Wow, 8 o'clock is late for trick-or-treaters. Bet they are the ones that go from neighborhood to neighborhood. We had ones that came from El Monte and South El Monte! As much as they can get!!! xo
