Good 42º clear sunny morning. Hit 83º yesterday.
Yesterday I learned something new. I never realized the tongue
on a woodpecker was like on a hummingbird. It makes sense now. They peck a hole
and search for insects to eat, using their long sticky tongue... which by the
way is longer than their head. It wraps around the birds's
brain....
Yesterday was do laundry day and go through all the mail I had
collected over the last few days. Then I worked on 243 of the photos from
Wildlife Safari.
Today is the birthday of my Italian son, Alex's daughter
Sedona. HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY PRETTY GIRL!!
