Good 45º clear sunny morning. Hit 98º yesterday. Probably the
same today.
Yesterday was haircut day. Asked Leah for a different cut.
Tired of this one. We'll see how it works out. I wanted a "wedge" cut
like Dorothy Hamill had back in her ice skating days... She did it, but it
needs a little grow time.
Then it was a quick stop at Safeway for canned dog food
and home.
Here is my second Smilebox... pour a glass or cup of something, it's about
7 minutes long ...the drive through part of Wildlife Safari:

Absolutely nobody special is having a birthday
today!
Historically this date...
1776 – American Revolutionary
War: Nathan
Hale volunteers to spy for the Continental
Army.
1946 – While riding a train to Darjeeling, Sister Teresa Bojaxhiu
of the Loreto Sisters' Convent claimed to have heard the call of God, directing
her "to leave the convent and help the poor while living among them". She would
become known as Mother
Teresa.
1972 – The United
States suffers its first loss of an
international basketball game in a disputed match against the Soviet
Union at Munich, Germany.
And births this date
include...
1918 – Rin Tin
Tin, German shepherd dog (d. 1932)
.... What a legacy he
left. Long line of beautiful smart dogs! Loved the Rin Tin Tin show back in the
'50's. "Lt. Rip Masters", James Brown, sent me an autographed photo of he an
'Rinty'! (It's somewhere......)
LOL, Brian's favorite
drink is an "Arnold Palmer".... ice tea and lemonade!
..... stick with the brown
hair, Amy!
Dinner was Schnitzel, breaded veal patty and spinach &
cheese tortellini with artichoke bottoms...
I cooked the tortellini in boiling garlic salted water then
drained it and put it in the pan with the lemon butter cooking sauce and cut up
artichoke bottoms...
The veal patty was cooked in the Air Fryer... PERFECT!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

One of my favorite ways to serve spaghettini is with artichoke, spinach, black olives and pine nuts in either olive oil or cream. Salt, pepper and garlic to taste.
Schnitzel would be perfect meat course. THANK YOU for the suggestions.
Yes, L, one thing about pasta, add anything that is your favorite!!! xo
