Good 50º clear sunny morning. Only hit 94º
yesterday, which was 11º cooler than Monday!
Yesterday I left and went to the fire station to
pay my fire/med fee and the Mercy Flights fee. Had a fun chat about guns with
one of the firemen, Jim. The gal at the desk, Vicky, remembered my accidental
discharge/GSW to my hand back in August of 2006... LOL, this was on my birthday
that year..
Then to Safeway for groceries. They had the
canned dog food, I feed Dude in the evening, on sale, so I stocked up. CHORE
unloading the car when I got home.
Today is a special birthday, pal since 9th grade,

Happy Birthday Terry P... I remember him well and still think of him whenever I drive past his old house on Vista... Great friendly guy who kept us all running well.!!
Have and BE a great & happy day Sue..!
Thanks Vanette! Yes, Terry was/is a great guy!! Such a GREAT mechanic too. xo
Cute photo with your bandaged hand. I have a shirt just like that. :)
I hate unloading the groceries from the car but I try to time it when John and/or Matthew are home to help me. Then putting it away! :(
We have plenty of beer but I think it gives me a headache so I'll stick with Chardonnay! :)
XO Trisha
Yes, we do have good taste in clothes, eh T!!! LOL. Lucky you to have help with the unloading. Ok, stick with the Chardonnay. xoxo
Happy birthday Confucius- Thank you for this quote.
"In a country well governed, poverty is something to be ashamed of. In a country badly governed, wealth is something to be ashamed of."
Even though Lutherans (the church having been born in Germany) are rumoured to be seeking a communal wine which tastes like beer- to me beer is a drink best saved for a hot day, served while playing beach volleyball. Or fed to the lawn. Lawns love beer.
