Micro Egg Cooking ~ Superhumans ~ Middle Child

Good 56º sunny clear morning. We hit 100º yesterday and today should be a few degrees warmer. Joy.
Breakfast.... egg cooked in a pottery dish

with butter spray and a saucer on top of the dish for 1 min 10 seconds. I put a chicken thigh on top of the saucer to heat. Then added parmesan cheese to the egg and some Creamy Garlic Sauce (Costco) to the chicken..... and along with the other half of the muffin from Sunday brunch and of course, tomato!

(They do have it at Amazon.com

You have to watch this.... shared by Rod Johnson (LASD ret) Thank Rod! Superhumans!!!!

Lunch was 2 apples and some of Walden Farms Peanut Spread (0 calories and 0 fat).... not as good as peanut butter, but healthy for me!

Middle Child Day

(^ Betty Mom Me Marion)**
Middle Child's Day gives a little well deserved recognition to the  wonderful and special middle child in the family.
For parents of three children, you likely know the "Middle Child Syndrome" all too well. If you grew up the middle child with both older and younger siblings, you know the feeling a from a very personal perspective.
The first child is the first child. Beyond a doubt, the first born is a very special occasion. And he, or she, has all of mom and dad for a while before the second child comes along. The final child is and always will be the baby of the family.
This author knows what its like to be a middle child. We won't go into a dissertation about what Middle Child Syndrome is. Rather, we will focus upon one aspect. Older and younger children tend to be more outgoing, or extroverted. The middle Child tends to be more introverted, quieter, perhaps a bit of a loner.
It is very fair and fitting that we celebrate, and place into the limelight, the middle child today. Go out and enjoy this day to the fullest. Tell the world about it. Be a little outspoken, and let the world know how great it is to be the middle child. You truly are a wonderful, talented, and special person!

** My sister Marion was the middle child. Betty the oldest and me the youngest. She did not fit that profile of introverted. Absolutely not! She was outgoing and lots and lots of fun!

Good morning from this middle child.

The 1994 baseball strike is a good look-back at the consequences of not compromising. No one "won". I believed the club owners were guilty of collusion, but it would never be proven. Justice Sotomeyer surpaced my expectations on this. Too bad she then went on to destroy the ability of Photographers to determine their own compensation. Proof a Latina's viewpoint can be interesting- that doesn't make us necessarily wise.
