Cod & Veggies ~ Nay Nay ~ Robin Williams ~ Cranberry Wine ~ Big Valley

Good 49º clear sunny morning. High yesterday was 89º.

 

Yesterday I decided to cook.... basically it is the creamy veggie chicken recipe I posted on 8-1

BUT I changed it somewhat!

I found some lingcod pieces in the freezer and thawed them partially. Laid them in the crock pot.

I only had one can of cream of mushroom so mixed that with cream of broccoli, some garlic, and 1/2 cup of milk....

On top of the cod went baby potatoes, baby peeled carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, and mushrooms.

Topped it all with the soup mixture and set on low for 8 hours.

   REALLY good!!!!

Later I found a channel that shows old western shows. I watched an episode of Big Valley with Lee Majors.

This show was on from 1965-1969. Lee was sooooo good looking!!! So, since I found that channel I have recorded more Big Valley, also Bonanza (1959-1973) and The Virginian (1962-1971).  Here on DirecTV it channel 364.
