Friend and LASD ret Rod Johnson and his bride Linda were
recently in Ireland. He posted about 800 photos on Smileboxes. Beautiful
scenery. Intriguing architecture. I copied this off for my friend Jennifer
Murphy.... Murphy's Harley:
I thought it interesting that Linda and Rod met friends of Linda over
there.... last name of Mills. Now my grandfather on my Mom's side is Mills also,
but he was Scottish! My grandmother was a Dunbar. Remember Dances With Wolves
starring Kevin Costner...he played Lt. John Dunbar and the young white woman who
was raised by the Sioux Indians calls him Dumb-bear! There is a Dunbar Castle in
Scotland.
The Irish side of my family is my Dad's. Laney. There is a Laney River in
Ireland.
Yesterday while I was watching the news I noticed this fawn
out at the side of the house.....
and her mom....
Then in the front yard was another doe munching on the green
just watered grass....
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.

National Rice Pudding Day
1 comment:
Good morning! Perhaps tonight I'll make rice pudding. Always use arborio rice. Sometimes golden raisins make their appearance- but tonight there are strawberries needing to enjoy.
not only is it Rice Pudding Day, it's also Book Lover's Day. Perfect duo.
