Good 60º clear sunny morning. We hit 103º yesterday, 104º in
Medford. In 2009 it was 108º here. UGH.
This doe was out on the side of the house munching on grape leaves
yesterday...
Ahhhh, yesterday was haircut day. Always fun to chat with Leah
while she works hard at making me look good!!! Her daughter Marley was there in
the shop with her. Marley is so cute and fun also. Nice seeing her! She's almost
16. Yikes! Leah always remarks, "Your hair grows so fast!!" Maybe I should just
let it grow and see how long it takes....
In the morning I finally got on my stationary bike. If you haven't
exercised in FOREVER you have to take it slow. I rode for 20 minutes, 3 miles,
and burned 151 calories. LOL, when I stopped and sat at my desk, my legs were
still going around like on the peddles!!! At least they felt like it! On top of
that I started taking Garcinia Cambogia, a dietary supplement that is supposed
to suppress your appetite, burn fat, and increase your metabolism. I have been
taking it since Monday 7-25. I have lost 3 pounds!
BTW, I bought mine through Amazon.
This is a SUPER neat story. Awesome. Take 10 minutes, pour a
cup of coffee, or a glass of wine, or go grab a beer and sit and enjoy this....
and keep the Kleenex handy for those happy tears!
This is DISGUSTING.... The DNC is replaced Sanders supporters
with PAID seat fillers to create FAKE UNITY!
Well, you know me and shirts... saw these and giving them some
thought!

Dinner was reruns heated in the Air Fryer. Sure is a neat gadget! Easy,
quick, dishwasher clean up. Love it. Going to experiment with more things to
cook in it.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

July 29th
National Lasagna Day **
National Lasagna Day is
today. We hope you have a big appetite. Sure, it's July. Its hot and humid.
Cooking up a pan of Lasagna will make the kitchen a lot hotter. But as it cooks,
the smell will waft throughout the house. Your mouth will begin to water. When
dinner time arrives, you will have a huge appetite for a huge piece of lasagna.
Of this, you can be certain.
Lasagna is a favorite Italian dish. In between multiple layers of lasagna
pasta are generous amounts of tomato sauce, cheeses, and sometimes hamburger
and/or Italian sausage. Its the favorite Italian dish of millions of Americans.
We all would eat it more often, but this culinary work of art, made with loving
hands, takes time to make and bake.
It is best to celebrate National Lasagna Day by baking the lasagna that you will eat
today. If you don't have the time, or the weather is just too hot, then head out
to your favorite Italian restaurant.
** Or make the slow cooker lasagna:

I watched both conventions. I've been reading anything and everything. It's amazing how much goes on and how much the FBI looks the other way. The whole democratic choice for a candidate should have been null and void after finding out what the party did to Bernie Sanders. But, they just go on like no biggie. And, really, seat fillers got $50 n a T-shirt to sit in seats. Seats that belonged to Sanders supporters. White noise machines were installed so that the Bernie supporters chants couldn't be heard. More American flags given out, after being called out for not having any, so they could be held up in order to block Bernie supporters. So, wrong. I can't stand the sound of her voice or her face for that matter. Just an out right liar. Amazing. No shame at all. Very sad.
I am so with you O, and you are one brave girl to watch those conventions! Especially the Dems. Her voice, and Ovamit's voice, and Moochelle's voices turn my stomach. Thank goodness for the mute button!!! xo
LOL Our convention was marvelous! The speakers were great. I couldn't bear to watch the Dems. I saw a couple of clips on the news and cringed! It was all a set up for Hil liar y for sure!
At a training class I attended a lady was wearing that second shirt you posted with giant HILLARY on it. When she was sitting, that's all you could see which made her look like a Hil liar y supporter. Never would I wear anything with her name on it.
May God help us all if she and that horn dog husband of hers ever get near the White House again! :(

Rumour is The Devil wants his climate back.
If 3 miles on the bike gives you Gumby legs- back off to mile to start- go up a quarter mile per week. Also- massage the knees before starting. If you can ice afterwards- even better.
Maybe we should find buttons "I watched both conventions and I survived." When the balloons started falling last night, it was to our halleluja's- 4 more years until we have to put up with the onslaught of malarky within serious content. I am not looking forward to the debates- but will watch. Listen. And save the shower for aferwards.
Politics can be noble. It rarely is. In the age of stagecraft, Twitter and 24 hour news serving an audience who wants fastest more than accuracy- I expect this swamp to outlast the drought.
Love your t-shirt posts!!!

Thanks for your comments ladies!!!! xo
Saw a video of the DNC showing one of the american flag tipped and fell to the ground. No one on stage picked it up. All I could think was Hillary and her followers stepped on it on the way out.
That is just so wrong. There is so much lack of respect for anything but what Hill-Liary wants!!!
