Good 53º cloudy morning.
In the morning some clouds yesterday ..
Then they all went away. We topped out at 83º.
Yesterday a quick run into town to ship some LLBean slippers
back to them. I normally buy these clogs..
because they are so comfortable, has an
outdoor sole, and lasts forever. But decided to try these mocs....
Unfortunately they were too tight. So sent them back (UPS pre-paid) and
asked them to send me the next size up. They were tight but comfortable with the
same shearling soft comfy lining....
Then a stop at the ATM and home.
Breakfast was two eggs cooked in the microwave in a porcelain
dish with a saucer on top. Puncture the yolk with a sharp knife, I sprinkled on
bacon salt/pepper, cook on high for 1+ minutes. Mine were 1 min 30 seconds. Cut
up an avocado and topped with pomegranate mayo.
OMGOOOD! No calories in that mayonnaise ( http://www.waldenfarms.com/products/flavoredmayo.html
) and avocado is really good for you~!
Then lunch was low fat cottage cheese, fresh mozzarella balls,
mozzarella stick, and an apple.
Today is high school friend, Joe Terror's birthday. Joe the

Joe!!! Hope you have a great day!!!

ANNIVERSARY kids!!! xo

Excellent
research by a fine institution.
From a
total of 44 U.S. Presidents, Obama has been rated as the 5th best, according to
a study completed at Texas A&M University. The Public Relations Office at
A&M released this statement:
"After
almost 8 years in office, American academics have rated President Obama the 5th
Best President in American History".
These
are the results according to Texas A&M:
1.
Lincoln and Reagan and Truman tied for first place
2.
Sixteen Presidents tied for second place
3.
Twenty-three other Presidents tied for third place
4.
Jimmy Carter came in fourth, and ...
5.
Obama was fifth

Historically this date...
1804 – Former United States Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton dies a day
after being shot in a duel.
1917 – The Bisbee
Deportation occurs as vigilantes kidnap and deport nearly
1,300 striking miners and others
from Bisbee,
Arizona.
....
Interesting, as my mother lived in Bisbee at the time. She was 12 and my
grandfather was a mining engineer at the Lavender Pit Mine. Never heard this
discussed.
2007 – U.S. Army Apache helicopters perform airstrikes in Baghdad, Iraq; footage from the cockpit is
later leaked to the Internet.

really weird
.....somebody
ought to buy this dingbat a hairbrush!
It was warm, about 80º, but Dude had to go out and lay in the
sun.
When it was about 83º he decided it was better in the cool
house...
Later, since it was Mojito Day I made one. Didn't have any
fresh lime, so used bottled lime juice and lime Rum. Mmmmmmmmm.....
Brian saw this and sent it to me on a text.... so true!!! LOL.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.

Different Colored Eyes Day
Different Colored Eyes Day has two reasons to celebrate. First of all,
it celebrates diversity of eye color. Wouldn't the world be boring, if everyone
had the same color of eyes?
Secondly, it recognizes an eye condition called Heterochromia. People who
have this trait, have two different colors of eyes. One eye may be brown, while
the other is blue. Famous people who have Heterochromia include David Bowie,
Jane Seymour, and Christopher Walken.
Your eyes are an important part of your appearance. They are also important
in communications. When you look into your lover's eyes, you need to like what
you see. Making "eye contact" just wouldn't be the same without different
colored eye. Isn't it great that we have a variety of eye colors to set us apart
from one another?
Eye colors include:
Shades of brown
Shades of blue
Shades of green
Black
Gray
Hazel
Celebrate Different Colored
Eyes Day by taking particular notice of the eye colors of everyone you
see.
