Happy Monday ~ Sable Ranch ~ Jennifer's Heaven/Sugar Fox/Keeper ~ Aggie Dog White

Good 55º clear sunny morning. We hit 93º yesterday. Heading towards triple digits this week.

Oh happy Monday. Schools are getting back in gear in So Cal. Kristen is back to work at Coolidge Elementary.

She has a new principal. Hope that works out. Her former principal Patty, took dancing lessons from my pal Judy (Nichols) Seielstad Houston. Judy passed away a few years ago. Judy was the daughter of June Nichols, who had a dance studio in Alhambra where I took lessons...
And Patty is the niece of Judy's husband Kenny Houston. Small world.

Breakfast yesterday was another egg baked in bread, cinnamon muffin with honey, and tomato. As I said, these eggs are so good!! I love them. Crispy crunchy bread and perfectly cooked egg, topped with a thin slice of butter and a little cheese.
If you didn't see or get the recipe, check my blog on July 19th:
My high school pal, Nancy's (Kujala) daughter Stephanie and her mate Derek Hunt run Sable Ranch in Santa Clarita. The Sand Fire just about destroyed the ranch. Lots of movies and commercials have been filmed there.
It is so sad to lose historical places, not to mention all the homes that fire has consumed! My heart aches for all those people.

My pal Trish, who was a delegate to the RNC in Cleveland, took this picture because she knows how much I like our Congressman Greg Walden!

Later in the afternoon I went over to Jennifer's on the river. Her deck view looking towards the Rogue:

She made a rotisserie chicken and salad. I took some fresh cut up pineapple. We sat on her deck and drank wine. Her dogs joined us on the deck...
Sugar Fox:

Heaven:

Keeper:
These dogs are sooooooooooooo sweet and loving. Just a pleasure to be around them!

Jennifer had bought this wine:

This is the wine maker's dog, Aggie. It's a Viognier made in Jacksonville at Devitt Winery.

Anyway, Jennifer didn't like the wine and she asked me to try it. I liked it! She gave me these two bottles. Lucky me!!!! As it turned out I was wearing this shirt yesterday:

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

July 25, 2016 is
National Hot Fudge Sundae Day
Today is National Hot Fudge Sundae Day! A sundae is the perfect treat to enjoy on a summer night. The cold ice cream paired with a warm, chocolate topping is one of the most delicious combinations known to man. Add some nuts, whipped cream, and cherries on top and you’ve got yourself a world-famous dessert!
The Guinness Book of World Records has documented several record-setting sundaes. For example, the most expensive sundae can be ordered at Serendipity 3 in New York City for the hefty sum of $1000. In 2009, the Kids Club in Brunswick, Georgia created the world’s longest sundae. It measured over 130 feet long!
To celebrate National Hot Fudge Sundae Day, you don’t have to go to such great lengths. Just treat yourself to a scrumptious hot fudge sundae with all of your favorite toppings!

Hey girlfriend! I immediately knew you would love a photo of your Congressman Walden! So happy he was chosen to be one of the convention speakers!

Hugs and now back to the mountain of emails I had waiting for me and more arriving with every minute. :)

Good morning. I'm so sad to hear your friends loss to the fire. One of my colleagues lives a mile from its start point- we've all been on edge for her.

Congratulations on your daughter's return to work. Shannon's sister starts as a principal at the local school. She's going to be terrific- I hope your daughter's boss is, as well.

Trish's interview on Fox is up on her web page.

Right now there are more birds seen through my window than I can count. I'll ignore the squirrel.

Yes, T, thank you for the photo. Walden is a hero to our Veterans! xo

L, the video is great. You could upload it to youtube and then I could show my friends. Just sayin'....xo
