Good 59º some clouds sunny morning.
The rain stopped yesterday about 8:45am. We got almost 1/2" of that
glorious wet stuff. Stayed nice, cool, and overcast all day. We hit 73º by
2pm. Here are a couple of super short videos of something you Southern
Californians don't see or hear any more...
When the rain stopped the turkeys came out.. the 3 mommas and their
babies... almost the size of chickens!
Some drizzling, not enough to measure, started about 6pm last night. It
will be warmer today with rain still predicted again for tomorrow.

Yesterday I ordered a stationary bicycle from Amazon. Doc
wanted to know why I don't exercise. It's because of degenerative disc disease
and walking or any type of exercise kills my back. He suggested the bicycle as
it has helped him since he can't run anymore. He said, set it in front of the TV
and ride away~!! I'll get a wine glass holder for it! LOL!
It has a large comfortable seat, has a smooth and quiet operation, and it
folds up and you can roll it. It tells your speed, distance traveled, calories
burned, and it has a hand pulse monitor. It is their most popular model and has
thousands of rave reviews!
Then it was into town for my new prescriptions... Dude was so excited to
get to go for a ride.... I took him for one, he LOVES taking rides, and two, I
was only going to the pharmacy drive up window. I opened the back window so he
could "sniff everything" !

Later it was a glass of red wine, Syrah, from a local winery.
Then I decided on a veggie dinner. I cooked the last of the artichokes. I
cut up broccoli, a zucchini, yellow bell pepper, celery, and dumped in some baby
carrots. A little water to steam and drizzled on olive oil so when the water
evaporates the veggies will continue to sauté, sprinkled on Lawry's Garlic Salt,
and put on the lid.
When I plated it I sprinkled on some grated cheese blend and put a dollop
of pomegranate mayo for the artichoke to dip in...
OMGOOOOOD!!!!
Then it was chair, chardonnay, and TV.

National Sugar Cookie Day
National Sugar Cookie Day is a day to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Popular with young kids, and old kids, sugar cookies usually don't last long
around the house.
It's pretty easy to see how Sugar cookies came to get their own special
day. Almost everyone has had them. Many people are hooked on them. Put out a
plate of sugar cookies, and you can be certain they won't be there for long. We
haven't seen any surveys, but it's a sure bet that sugar cookies are right up
there with chocolate chip cookies as America's favorite cookie.
Spend a portion of the day baking sugar cookies. They are very easy to
make. If you have kids, make today a real family holiday, and let them help with
the baking. Homemade cookies taste best when you helped to bake them. Once
you've baked the cookies, hurry and pop them into your mouth while they are
still warm. They're mmmmmmmmm....

Only since you asked- no I don't believe a person is Muslim for wearing traditional garb to a ceremony. But it is evidence of empathy.

Obummer was attending a Muslim family wedding at that photo. O'Reilly showed several photos of him in Muslim garb. Even IF he isn't one, his sympathy lies with them over Christian. He bashes Christians at every turn while praising Islam! His dad and step dad were Muslim. He was raised until at least into his teens in a Muslim country, went to a Muslim school. His mother was a socialist/commie as were her parents. So my questions is, when did he ever become a Christian?? He sat in "Rev" Wright's anti-American church for 20 years! I wouldn't call them Christians!
I like your bike! That's my problem with exercising too. I'm afraid a bike would not be kind to my bad knees.
