Good 58º sunny clear morining.
Heat was at 86º by noon yesterday. Closed the house and turned on the
AC. 91º @ 1:30. End of day we hit 94º.
Some good news, one of the major rioters in the Freddy Gray riots got his
just dues!!

Today is my oldest sister's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTY!
Thanksgiving and me helping my sister with the turkey while her daughter,
Nancy, looks on...

Yesterday I decided to make some potato salad with the little
mini potatoes. I first hard-boiled some eggs. Cooked the potatoes in boiling
Lawry's garlic salted water and drained. Cut the potatoes and the eggs and mixed
all together with chopped celery, 1/2 a shallot, cheese, garlic salt and pepper,
and mayonnaise.
While chopping the celery I had a little
snack....
I put the salad in a refrigerator dish and what wouldn't fit I ate.
Then I was too full to eat dinner!!!!
Chair, wine, TV for Carnival Eats (Food Channel) and Blue Bloods and a
nap!!
Oh, and one thing, if you have a smart phone and you might not know
this...... say you don't have your phone with you and someone is in dire need of
medical help, but they have a phone. How do you unlock it to call 911? Press the
button to turn on the phone, swipe it to get to the unlock page....
At the bottom of the numbers there is the word "Emergency". Tap on that and
you can dial 911.

Insurance Awareness Day has
got to be one of your top holidays, right!? Now, at this point, one must be
asking... Why Insurance Awareness Day? Good question.
Insurance, be it home, auto or life insurance, offers you peace of mind
that if something happens, you will be financially protected. Of course when it
comes to life insurance, if something happens, you won't be around to worry
about the outcome.
Insurance is a gamble. If you buy it, you're gambling that something will
go wrong. If you don't buy it, you're gambling that something will not
happen.
Were not sure what you should do to enjoy and appreciate this day. We are
certain what the insurance companies would like you to do today........
As for me, my agent, my son, takes exceptional good care of me and my
insurance!!

Insurance Awareness Day- Hope I don't have to think about that for the rest of the day):- Between fires and floods, it feels too aware.
The phone spammers started at 6 AM. Need to turn that phone ringer off at night.

Love our State Farm Homeowners Insurance. We have had them since our first house. No other company will even talk to us because we live in a fire danger zone. The good part is from the beginning we have had 100% glass breakage coverage. They don't offer it anymore but they let us keep that coverage. It sure came in handy with four boys and one having a good throwing arm! lol
