Good 35º cloudy morning. I was surprised, stayed about same temp all day
yesterday and even warmed to 40º at one point, but I was sure it was going to
freeze overnight. Brought the hummingbird feeders in. Never froze.
Still a bit of snow on my mountain...
Getting some help from Mike today with some chores and glad for a break in
the rain....
Breakfast yesterday .... another Egg-Tastic concoction ...
2 eggs, parsley, mozzarella cheese, celery, creamy garlic sauce, garlic sea
salt..... all mixed together in the cooker... microwave on high 1 min 10
seconds, stir, cook 1 min 15 seconds more. Top with cheese and let sit with lid
on for a minute.
A plate of spinach, with celery, mozzarella cheese, and Kraft Asian Toasted
Sesame dressing (OMGOOD!)
My pal Pat Reardon got himself and his sweet Alice a couple porcelain soup
mugs... he makes his eggs in these..
Great idea Pat!!!
I forgot to post Monday night's football scores. Sorry... The game was so
disappointing that I must have put it out of my mind!
Yesterday I stayed in! Even renewed my vehicle registration via internet!
How cool is that! No waiting in line! The pest control guys were here about 2pm,
Jim and AJ. Not much activity this time of year since the pesky ground squirrels
are hibernating, so they just asked if I had any issues or if everything was ok.
Cats love boxes! I had a couple that I didn't use and were on
the floor when Mr. Bruiser decided to investigate... and then thought this was a
good place for a nap!
I have to tell you this has been the month for surgeries with my friends.
Georgia Sue in AZ had bladder surgery for cancer, Lydia in Diamond Bar had knee
surgery, Jennifer of Grants Pass just had hand surgery. Everyone seems to be
doing OK at this point. Nancy and I are going to take some "treats" to Jennifer.
Not like the last hand surgery friend whom I did that for and got kicked in the
gut for doing something nice and treated like I was a bad guy enemy! This time it will go well!

Dinner was some tamales I got at Costco. Really good. Wrap in wet paper
towel, put in microwave. Easy peasy. Then I served them with some

them up!
Very good. Stuffed myself. OINK!!
Then it was the usual... chair, wine, TV, and a phone chat with a couple

National Chocolate Covered Anything Day
Chocolaholics rejoice!
Its a great day to indulge, binge, "pig out", and otherwise consume to
excess, your favorite food....chocolate. We believe the timing of this day,
during the holiday season, couldn't be better.
Today, we get to enjoy our beloved chocolate by covering something...just
about anything... in a generous amount of chocolate. Pour, spread, or drizzle
chocolate over cakes, cupcakes, pies, pancakes or waffles, nuts, raisins, even
ants (yes, some people actually eat chocolate covered ants!). We will let you
decide what is too extreme, and how much is too much, if any.
As chocoloaholics, we shouldn't need any added incentive to enjoy our
chocolate. In the giving spirit of the holiday season, make sure to give or
share some of your favorite chocolate covered treats today.
Happy National Chocolate
Covered Anything
Day!!!!

Why thank you anonymous! I would be happy to. ox
Bruiser is a member of the FBI. Feline box inspectors !!! p.j.
You can bring me treats):-
Saw the doc today. So far, outstanding recovery. If I don't over-do things for 6 weeks to 2 months, the original model knee should last a few more years before I go bionic.
That bacon looks truly evil - in the very best way.
PJ... that is funny!!!!! xo
Glad you are doing well L. xo
