Later I decided to clean out the fridge. Had a bunch of veggies so made
vegetable/ravioli soup!
All the vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas, green beans, carrots,
dehydrated mushrooms and bell peppers, and celery) went into the Crock Pot and
the chicken stock and seasonings. 3 hours on high.
Then I added in a can of cheese sauce and a can of cream of potato soup...
stirred will and added in the ravioli... cooked on high for an additional hour.
SUPER SOUP! Loved it!!!
Got leftovers. Yeah!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

National Fritters Day
Before you can begin to celebrate this very important day, you need to know
what a "fritter" is. Many people do not know, making it all the more fun to eat
your first fritter today. A fritter is a fried cake or dough with fruit or meats
inside.
Whatever you do, do not fritter this day away without eating at least one
fritter.
Happy National Fritters Day!

Two things: 1) Ray Walston died from lupus at 86. I didn't know men got lupus. And 2) Your Jerry sure was a stone fox! I'm so sorry he is gone kiddo. And the irony of 12-2 to 2-12 is something! V
Thanks re my Darling!! I thought so too!! xo
Good morning. What a nice tribute to your husband. And Georgia Sue. Her name fits her.
Haven't made fritters in a very long time. Breakfast for dinner? Sounds nice.
Thanks L. My Darling was awesome and taught me so many things. Fritters? Yummmmm.... Yes, breakfast for dinner. Also you can put tater tots in the waffle iron to make crunchy little things to eat with any meal. xo
It makes me sad that I only got to meet Jerry once briefly. Remember? It was at Rick Buhman's surprise birthday party here at the "night club" in Diamond Bar. I met you both that night. Yes that was such a sweet tribute to your darling.
That soup looks amazing! I kept thinking you were finished then you kept adding more stuff. OMG it looks so delicious and especially awesome on such cold weather days you are having. It's back in the 70's here today and for most of the week.
Hugs and again a very happy happy birthday to our Georgia Sue!
XOXO Trisha
Yes, I am sorry "our guys" didn't get to hang out more! Yes, I remember that party. Fun. I love soup. So easy, chicken or beef stock and everything in the fridge! Also something to make it creamy. Gnocchi is good in it too! Yes, our very best to GS !!! xo
Thank you, my Oregon friend. Happy BD for Jerry from another Sagg! Hugs & Love!
