Thursday night I sent Kristen a picture of our sunset. Yesterday morning
she sent me this picture of her sunrise while on her way to work...
Very cool!!
Yesterday I met Jennifer and a new friend, Chris, at Musashi
for lunch..
Across the street was this enormous raven... just had to take his
picture! (Lately I have been running around without my big camera. A big mistake. It takes such superior pictures compared to the little Nikon! It would have done much better with Mr. Raven!)
After lunch we followed Chris out to her house....
Chris and Dave and Chris's sister Julie live here. Beautiful home. They had
it built. All open spaces inside. GREAT house!
I believe that's the Applegate River ... a wonderful deck and great
view...
Such a beauty, the cat (forgot her/his name!), and Winston the dog....
sweet.
Chris gave us a bunch of goodies... some cherry tomatoes from
their garden, canned pesto Dave made, and blueberry chipotle jam, and some
salsa! Wow. We made out!

Then Jennifer and I headed back to GP to meet up with another gal, but she
was delayed. So, we went to Climate City Brewery. Sat out on the patio and had a
glass of wine.
Perfect weather, really nice!

Well, OVamit came to Oregon to 'sympathize' with the victims and families
of the victims re the shooting at Umpqua College..
He ALMOST made a political statement about guns, but changed his mind and
said his time there was for the families...... sheesh. There were many
protestors as well as lookie lous lining the street. Our dumbass Governor Brown
(yes California, we have one too!) just stood there looking at him with
admiration! (gag)

With all the wildlife you have in your area- I am amazed at the bounty.

LOL That pic of Obummer is just about right! I feel for the people in LA who are tying to get places today. There will be many streets blocked off because he's coming to town AGAIN for another fund raiser! Yup! It has been said that the Dems use Calif. as an ATM machine! True! Then he will spend the rest of the weekend in San Diego! UG!! IMHO he shouldn't be flying AF1 at taxpayer's expense to fund raise $$$ for the Dems! Not right!!

Yes T, flying AF1 for that should be a crime!!! As for traffic, I feel for Kris as she has to go to Torrance for a funeral, then back to La Habra for Jack's band competition. Hope she takes the right route! xo
Well "they" say if the President is going for an "official" reason it's ok to fly AF1 to a fundraiser. Hence, that's no doubt the reason he went to Oregon first! That and highlighting his "gun control" issues! UG!!
Good luck to Kris today! That's many miles she has to travel! We used to go to La Habra to band competitions. I'll bet we competed with Jack's high school in the past.
