Breakfast:
I found some "buttered popcorn" rice cakes, slathered on the Costco
guacamolé, and nibbled on some crispy bell pepper pieces (from 7 Oaks Farm) and
tomatoes Chris C gave me.
Wish I could make those crispy bell pepper pieces ... oh and they have
crispy okra too.

The world's biggest horse, Big Jake, 20 hands and 2/3 of an inch, weighing
in at 2600 pounds!!! 11 year old Belgian gelding. Raised from a weanling in
Ostego Michigan at Smoky Hollow Farm.
Yesterday I cleaned. Vacuumed and dusted the living room and washed Dude's
couch cover. Exciting.
Dinner was beef burger patties, Rana Mushroom Ravioli (refrigerated),
veggies, and cherry tomatoes ...........
This pasta made by Giovanni Rana is awesome! You can see where to buy and recipes at www.giovannirana.com . I buy mine at Safeway. They also carry his products at Wal Mart and many many places in So. Cal.
First the patties were sauteéd in olive oil sprinkled with Lawry's Garlic
Salt. Then in went the veggies, a drizzle of oil on them, lid on and some
steaming....
Cooked the ravioli in boiling garlic salted and olive oil drizzled water,
drained, and added to pan...
Next a bag of Parmesan cheese was sprinkled on top, lid back on to
melt....

love THE Rana brand of pastas. Homemade ravioli is back breaking- theirs is a GOOD option. Lovely pictures.
Thank you for the reminder on Navy day. Both my parents served- and I have a nephew who needs a thumbs up in honor of his service.
Good for your parents and your nephew!!!! xo
