Yesterday I headed into Grants Pass. I had prayed for rain for the fires
and I like it too... anyway, when I got into my car I got some sprinkles on the
windshield. Nice. The clouds were awesome.....
I met Brian at his office. Jen, Tucker, Sami, and Jean met us and we went
next door to The Vine for lunch...
The shirt my high school pal, Sandy (Todoran) Beck sent to me. It says "It
took me 70 years to look this good"!!! (I've got one for her birthday
too, albeit a little different!)
I had the Chicken Bruschetta with pesto sauce for lunch. Chicken on a bed
of mixed greens with quinoa, tomatoes, shaved parmesan cheese.

So nice, Ashley brought out a créme brûlée for me with a candle for
dessert. Talk about AWESOMELY GOOD. Jen shared it with me and she LOVED it too!
Ashley and Dustin are the new owners of this beautiful great little

Stopped at The Rogue Valley Humane Society

Looked out and here was the doe munching grass in the front yard. She saw

Dinner last night was a couple artichokes.. one of my most favorite foods! I cook them in water after
drizzling some lemon juice in each, then some infused olive oil, and top with
Lawry's Garlic salt...
Served with mayonnaise and a little sriracha mayo mixed in, creamy garlic
sauce, and some ranch dressing! Good dipping!!!
Then it was chair time, wine, and a few phone calls from pals. Next some

posted on my FB page. I will get back to all of you! ♥
Yesterday was a hugely sad day for my friends Erika and Spence down in La
Crescenta... they had their love, Jake, who was going downhill fast but kept on plugging away, even though he was miserable, put to sleep. He was one of the loves of their lives. RIP Jakey! You
were so loved and gave the love in return. My heart to you Erika and Spence. You will remember this day, VJ Day, for your Valiant Jake!
All I know. Happy TBT. Nuff said. Ciao.
