Good 55º clear and will be sunny morning.

I feel so healthy after eating this! You have to get your Egg-Tastic going Ike!!!

This is something to consider. Thanks Nancy (Kujala) for sharing!
Cancel   your
credit card before you die.

Be sure and cancel your credit cards before you die! This is so priceless, and so easy to see happening ,customer service being what it is today.

A lady died this past January, and Citibank billed her for February and March for their annual service charges on her credit card, and added late fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been $0.00 when she died, but now somewhere around $60.00.
A family member placed a call to Citibank.
Here is the exchange:
Family Member:   'I am calling to tell you she died back in January.'
Citibank   :   'The account was never closed
and the late fees and charges still apply.'
Family Member : 'Maybe you should turn it over to collections.'
Citibank : 'Since it is two months past due, it already has been.'
Family Member : 'So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?'
Citibank : 'Either report her account to frauds division or report her to the credit bureau,
maybe both!'
Family Member 'Do you think God will
be mad at her? '
Citibank:   'Excuse me?'
Family Member
:   'Did you just get what I was telling you - the part about her being dead?'
Citibank 'Sir, you'll have to speak to
my supervisor.'

Supervisor gets on the phone:
Family Member   'I'm calling to tell
you, she died back in January with a $0 balance.'
Citibank 'The account was never closed
and late fees and charges still apply.'
Family Member 'You mean you want to
collect from her estate?'
Citibank : (Stammer) 'Are you her lawyer?'
Family Member : 'No, I'm her great nephew.'
(Lawyer info was given)
Citibank:   'Could you fax us a certificate of
death?'
Family Member : 'Sure.' (Fax number was given)
After they get the fax :
Citibank   :   'Our system just isn't setup
for death. I don't know what more I can do to help.'
Family Member : 'Well, if you figure it out, great! If not, you could just keep billing
her. She won't care.'
Citibank:   'Well, the late fees and charges
will still apply.'
(What is wrong with these people?!?)
Family Member : 'Would you like her new billing address?'
Citibank : 'That might help....'
Family Member : ' Odessa Memorial Cemetery , Highway 129, Plot Number 69.'
Citibank : 'Sir, that's a cemetery!'
Family Member : 'And what do you do with dead people on your planet???'

(Priceless!!)
And you wondered why Citibank needed help from the Feds?

Yesterday after chores and the blog I worked on my new printer.

I had hooked it up but it wouldn't work. Brian said I needed a cable to hook it to the computer. It didn't come with one! Come on@! So Brian gave me one. I hooked it up and it still wouldn't work. Talking to my pal Linda night before last she said she was having trouble with her printer and her tech said to uninstall the whole thing and reinstall it. I did that AND IT WORKED!!!!! YEAH! Now I can finely get out my thank yous and make birthday cards! Sigh............Trouble is, again I bought a Canon. Stupid on my part! Not happy with this one either!

My Dad passed away on this date in 1991. He was 90 years old. Sooooo missed. Good guy. Here is Mom and Dad on their 50th wedding anniversary in 1976. Think of them every day! ♥ ♥

Yesterday Jorge and his helper were here about 8:30 to pressure wash the barn in prep for painting.

Later for lunch I had bought some Tostitos dip.. heated it up (45 seconds in the micro) and slathered it on some Quaker white cheddar rice cakes. That and an avocado half and iced lemonade, yummmm!

I love rice cakes but am going to write to Quaker about these. They fall apart. Before you can get them out of the wrapper 3 of them crumbled. Grrrrrrrrrrr...... The dip was good, but would be better if eaten with Fritos Scoops!

Bruiser likes to be incognito ... or at least he thinks he is... "come on little critter, come to daddy" !!

Dinner was reruns of the tamale muffins heated and sitting in a small lake of enchilada sauce. OMGOOOOD! Wine, TV (a strange movie, I'll tell you about later), solitaire on my iPad, nap in chair. Chat with Linda and one with Jennifer and one with Nancy. (Thanks ladies!) Bruiser was out all day and when Dude wanted out after eating his dinner to rub his face on the grass I kept the Bruise in. Not going through that out til 1:30am thing again!

Today is making thank you cards day and making birthday cards day. Hope your day is good. Sunday football!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.

It's too bad squirrels can be such a nuisance when they are so darn cute. Chips are always improved with dip. Time for coffee.
