Good 49º somewhat smokey and "partly cloudy" morning.
Hit 90º yesterday.
Throw Back Thursday:
2000 Brian and his Blue Jay friend....
Yesterday I went to Costco. I found some new and interesting items.. One is
Wild Friends Honey Sunflower Butter. OMGOOOD!!!! Made with roasted sunflower seeds and honey and a touch of sea salt.
Read about these two girls who were college roommates in Oregon and now 4
years later make a number of kinds of nut butters... BTW, only $9.99 at Costco,
$19.89 at Amazon!
Then I bought Culinary Treasures Creamy Garlic Sauce (for dipping,
dressing, & drizzle sauce) It says good with chicken or shrimp or pork,
stir-fries, grilled meats, Asian salads, and "So addictive you will wonder how
you ever did without it" ! I tasted it and they are right. It is AWESOMELY GOOD!
Gonna put it on everything! And I got some of the Culinary Treasures Lemon
Ginger Sesame Dressing and Marinade.
From their website I found out that these "Culinary Treasure" products are
made exclusively for Costco. Products of Canada!
And lastly I bought 6 individual packs of "Quinoa Meal" from Cucina &
Amore. Sounded good. Quinoa with an artichoke and roasted pepper sauce. Already
cooked, nothing needed.
It even comes with a spoon. SUPER GOOD!!!! I could eat this all day
long!!!
Of course for a snack on the drive home and for dinner later I got an Asian
Chicken Wrap. I love these and the ginger sauce that comes with....
They come 4 in a box and with the sauce. Ate one, three left.... Then one
more down for dinner last night.
Jennifer wanted a few things so I picked them up for her... basil pesto,
garlic butter (never tried it but sounds fabulous!), fresh bakery parmesan bread
loves, and I shared a bag of artichokes with her. Dropped them off at her work.
No room in my fridge for her stuff too!!!
In the afternoon PJ, my neighbor/pal, came by and brought me a present for
watering their place while they were gone..
I LOVE frogs. This is so cool. Will have to work on a place to hang
him....
We sat on the porch and had wine. Oh, and I let PJ taste the Garlic Sauce
and she LOVED it! The sky was clear and beautiful! No smoke!
Amazing with all
the fires still. It was smokey in Medford. Very smokey!

It's a big allergy day - but that won't stop me from enjoying a nice big root beer float.
I LOVE LUCY!! :) There will never be another like her.
Your "finds" at Costco sound wonderful. I can't get over that you can buy BAGS of artichokes up there when we have non at our Costco! At our new Walmart Neighborhood Market they are $2 each. Ug! Those Asian wraps look delicious! I love most everything in Asian food.
What an adorable photo of your Brian!
Hope the smoke stays away and you continue to have clear skies!
XO Trisha
Ha! I was at Costco yesterday, too! Hmmmmm, didn't see you, tho! Bwahaha
Leah, is that you? Sorry we missed each other. I got there when they opened. Have a fun beach camping weekend!! xoxo
Ok, so you are not Leah. Who are you????
No, was Georgia Sue! That's why I missed you... bwahaha. I'll sign from now on, tho, now that I know I can post through anonymous!
