Good 57º very overcast cloudy morning.
Yesterday by noon it was only 78º. Nice. Then the temps got up to 84º by
3pm. Still not too shabby. 6:30pm:
Shoot, I forgot to mention yesterday that it was Nancy and Dave Perry's
36th anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS!!!
With their fur child Skeeter!
Another good storage tip:
If you can't get through an 8 pound bag of carrots fast enough, chop them
up, blanch in hot water, and place in freezer bags. Most vegetables do well when
frozen.
Yesterday morning I made a cake for Jen. This is a new one, even has
matching frosting....
I just sprinkled some powdered sugar over the top...
I'm anxious to hear how Jen and family likes it!
She spent her birthday with Brian and the kids over at the coast. I met
them yesterday morning at Tap Rock for the buffet.
Sami and Tucker each had one of these awesome hot chocolates....
They both had fruit, rolls, and waffles with whipped cream and chocolate
chips!
I had a mimosa (actually two!)and a veggie with Swiss cheese omelette and a
blueberry muffin... OMGOOOOD!
Outside on the deck was this guy with this crazy moustache!
After breakfast Tucker and Sami played in the waterfall...
Across the street was a gathering of corvettes. Apparently there was a
corvette rally here in GP this weekend. So many beauties...
License plates from CA, WA, ID ......
Clouds on the way home...

National French Fries Day
If you live near an In-N-Out, get some of their fries.... Animal Fries!
Melted cheese, secret spread (like Thousand Island dressing) and
grilled onions....
If you live in Grants Pass you could go to The Haul if they were open on
Monday for some of their AWESOME baked garlic/rosemary fries. So, maybe you
should go on Tuesday and remember to take your own ranch dressing! OOPS just found out The Haul is also closed on Tuesday. Guess you will have to wait til Wednesday!~

We order fries from In and Out well done- a huge improvement over their regular order. A friends father used to spoon blue cheese dressing into a puddle of thousand island dressing to dip fries into- pretty good. Love the dog- and how inviting Tap Rock looks.
This probably shows I'm from California- Is the fall all natural? ):-
At Bob's Big Boy I would always order a side of blue cheese dressing for my fries! YUMMMMM.... And, no, the waterfall is man made. :o)
