Good 48º clear sunny Throw Back Thursday.
Yesterday was off to PJ and Daves to give her the cheese and
hot dogs I got for them at Costco. Then to Grants Pass to deliver artichokes and
avocados I got for Brian and Jennifer at Costco. Then to Medford for my yearly
with the cardio doc, Brian Morrison.
BUT, my Brian wasn't in the office and Jennifer wasn't at work
so I was early, allowing time to visit with each. Thought I'd run by Safeway and
get a couple items I needed. Saw this sushi ...
and lemonade and was starving, so had it for lunch! Good!!! Although, it
would have been better with a little bottle of saké!
Then off to Medford.
Dr. Brian
is a favorite person. He's a great doctor!
I had an EKG that came out fine. Heart rate, blood pressure good. I return in a
year. Dr. Brian and I have a funny connection.... he's a Brian, I have a Brian.
His birthday is the 1st of Feb, my Brian's is the 14th. He was born and raised
in Bloomington Ill, where State Farm HQ is, and my Brian is a State Farm Agent. We also had a nice chat about his 4 children and how they are doing. Also, he's a grandfather now too!

My sis Marion and I were there at Dodger Stadium in 1988 when he
hit that winning home run against the Oakland A's!
WOW! Later he came to the BC Range to show the staff (my Jerry) he
knew how to use a gun so he could get a gun permit from the Sheriff after being
robbed at gunpoint in front of his Santa Monica home with his family present.
Lasorda and Block were friends! I got my picture taken with him and he
autographed all the pictures and programs I had! Nice man!!!

Here is Kristen with Alex and Jack taken just
this past week.
Her surgery date will probably be June 12th. at
USC Norris Cancer Center in Los Angeles. http://www.uscnorris.com/
The surgery will be extensive, not only the
ovarian cancer will be removed but there are spots in her lung that will be
surgically removed by a lung surgeon. Keep her in your prayers please.

I've penciled in extra prayers for your daughter and her medical team on June 12th.
My sister was an A's fan and her husband got the tickets from the then A's manager, LaRussa, when he went to Tahoe. My bro-in-law ran a dock up there where LaRussa frequented. So Marion was rooting for the A's and me for the Dodgers.
Dr. Brian's photo is few years old. He's getting the gray in the hair now!!!

GREAT video of the muslim dump on BO that I will forward to others.
Everybody remembers watching Gibson hit that grand slammer and
barely being able to hobble around the bases.
Seeing you sitting in Dodger Stadium that day is fine, but now we

My guys were at that Dodger game too but wanting to avoid the traffic and knowing the Dodgers were going to lose, they left. They heard on the radio on the freeway about the home run! I saw it on TV. Wonderful!!
Funny that Ian Fleming's birthday is on Kevin's birthday. They named their new baby boy, Ian.
