morning.
Those sunflower seeds Brian shared with me at the baseball
game on Saturday I found them at www.amazon.com. Spitz is the name and I got a
variety pack of the Cracked Pepper, Dill Pickle, and regular Salted. The dill
pickle sounds interesting too.
Yesterday Jeannie sent me this... thought we needed
one:
Actually, I like the way they took that picture. Jeannie, we need to do one
of those, with white wine!

How about this recipe?
Broccoli Ham Cheese Muffins
from Betty Crocker and my pal Vivia in NY
1 bag (12oz) Green Giant Steamers frozen broccoli & cheese
sauce
1½ cups Original Bisquick mix
1/2 cup milk
3 T vegetable oil
1 egg
½ cup diced cooked ham
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 400º. Spray 12 regular size muffin cups with
cooking spray.
Cook broccoli as directed on the bag.
In large bowl, stir together Bisquick, milk, oil, and egg. Stir in
broccoli, ham, and cheese just until well mixed. Spoon mixture evenly into
muffin cups.
Bake 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan,
serve warm.
*Wrap and refrigerate any leftover muffins. Unwrap and reheat 1 at a time
on microwavable plate 15-30 seconds.
Last night I tried watching the Country Music Awards. OMG. "Records broken
for largest crowd ever to see an awards show." Held at AT&T Cowboy's Stadium
with a seating capacity of 80,000!
The MCs were Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. Neither were very good. Crowd
too big. Too much noise. The MCs were shouting into their microphones! I didn't
watch much!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

Sue,
Are those sunflower seeds shelled? My boys used to eat them and what a messed with the shells. Love them when they are shelled. Those two kinds sound yummy!!
I want one of those wine glasses too please! :)
XO Trisha
No T, they are not shelled. That is the fun of eating them. Of course you need a place outside for the spittin' .... xo
LOL Well they do taste good as they are salty. Daryl used to walk around with a red Solo cup for the spittin! :)
Sorry about all your expensive mechanical problems! As I said before, if it not one thing it's another! Bummer!
XO Trisha
What Sue is doing this summer: Writing lots of checks. I don't think I can afford moving to the country.
Don Mattingly probably gave up the mustache when it turned gray. MLB - the season is long and the days-off rare. Roots showing isn't sexy.
Well, L, at least you are 'almost' in the country with your pretty lot and lots of planting. ox
