Good 68º afternoon.
Went to see Turk and picked up my computer this morning. He is a genius.
Several things wrong and he fixed them! So glad to have "Hal" back!
Then to the store for cards and post office to mail them. Market for a few
groceries. They had a whole, seasoned, chicken for $5.57. Couldn't pass that up.
In the Crock*Pot it will go tomorrow. Yummmm... and I have a bunch of veggies to
go with.
Home and unloaded the car. On my way up our road I see Bruiser running and
jumping into the woodpile at my neighbors, Frank & Cindy's, outside my
gate. I pulled up and called him. He came running and followed me to the house.
Now sound asleep!
Yesterday was about dogs... here's a cute one from my pal Erika:
The geese were calling me yesterday, so I went out and gave them some
cracked corn. While I was waiting for Dude to come back from his 'morning duty'
the gander chased off another goose. They are very protective. Then the female
was done eating and started to leave as the gander returned. Got them on a
video! Noisy too!
This is pretty good.... making whipped cream in a jar and getting a workout
at the same time...
Here's a funny story out of Hollyweird... You know how the Kardashians (gag
gag gag .... humongous posteriors! selfie addicted!)
Today is a
special guy's birthday... John Bowler, ret. Lt. LASD, worked with him at ELA...
and the hubby of my dear daily drivel friend Trisha! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN! GREAT

Yesterday, after I took 'Hal' (my computer) to Turk. Had a problem with the
photo cards and they wouldn't work. Dropped it off and headed up the hill to
Julie's Uptown Bar and Grill to meet Jeannie and Donna for lunch.
Donna and Jeannie... Donna is looking GREAT. She had stomach cancer and
most all of her stomach removed. Now on chemo. She's really doing good. So nice
to see her!
Jeannie and Donna split an 'over the top with cheese' grilled cheese
sandwich.
I had the artichoke dip. OMGOOOOOOD!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

Oh what a wonderful photo! Pretty girls and you were such a darling! You must have been a late in life baby as you were so much younger than your sisters.
Our neighbor down the street from the middle east has two now grown boys. Kev used to be good friends with them. I always got a kick out of their names: Omar and Sharif! Their mom was a fan! :)
Thank you for the lovely shout out for my John on his birthday. He is such a special man! Love him to pieces and more every day of our 52 years of wedded bliss! :)
Glad Hal is back and Bruiser too! :)
XO Trisha
Ha ha ha... Omar and Sharif! Wow. Lucky you to have John and vice versa!
