April Gloom ~ Kids w/ Paws ~ LOL World ~ Reheat Redo ~ Empanadas

Good 40º foggy morning. Gloom...................

Well, some predictions are right. It started raining in earnest yesterday morning about 8:45. By 10am we had 1/4 inch! By then the forecast had been changed from "chance of rain" to "rain" ! This was yesterday's radar. Then the storm moved east....

Still was pretty out there, even though raining! You can see now where my roads were sprayed. Dying grass! Ted also sprayed around all the out buildings including the barn.

Today the fence company will be here to install the posts for my new gate. Don't know when the gate will get installed, but hopefully soon.

LOL, I had the rest of my leftover soup in it for breakfast yesterday. Perfect size for a big mug of soup!! Thanks Linda!

Yesterday was a run into Rogue River to pick up my mail that was held at the post office, pay my Ace Hardware bill, pick up some cracked corn, take Dude for a check up from his teeth cleaning, get a prescription at the pharmacy, pay my Rogue River Press subscription, and get a couple things at the market. Busy busy...  Earlier I had found a bag of "something" frozen in the freezer. Got it out and thawed. Then put it in the casserole Crock*Pot. It was Quinoa, mushrooms, and meatballs. I added in more cut up carrots and a can of cream of chicken soup. Let it cook the 3 hours and that was dinner. YUMMMMMMM!!
