Yesterday when I went out to feed the geese along came Mr. & Mrs. Mallard. Didn't get a good picture of them as the sun was shining right in my face! This was the first time I have seen them this year.

Pound Cake Day
Check this recipe:
Peanut Butter Pound Cake
1¼ cups butter
2 cups granulated sugar
6 eggs
½ cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups all purpose flour
¼ cup finely chopped roasted peanuts
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in the peanut butter, then the flour. Pour the batter into 2 lightly
greased loaf pans and place in oven.
After 15 minutes of baking, sprinkle the chopped onto the batter to create
a crunchy topping.
Bake a total of 50-60 minutes, or until centers test done with a toothpick
or cake tester.
I am going to make this in a Bundt pan! Mmmmm and whipped cream on top of
each
piece!!!

LOL- I'm glad I don't have peanut butter in the house- that pound cake sounds delightfully dangerous!
Glad Cliff is out of the hospital and at home. Wow! I thought I had been marrid a long time at 52 years! 64! Congratulations you two!
Great pics of your critters.
Boy what a messed up person that Chaz Bono is! Sunny would be turning over in his grave. She was such a darling little girl on their TV show.
