Then he and the Mrs. made up!

Yesterday I met up with Jennifer, Hilomi, Micol, Chris, and
Kate at Gtano's. I had the shrimp with pineapple/onions/green peppers and melon
and jicama and rice with corn.... and of course we had the table made guacamolé
by MaryLou.
Lilly and Juan Carlos are the owners. Juan
Carlos is the BEST cook ever of Latin Cuisine!

I forgot to tell you about the interesting meeting I had on Thursday. I was home and relaxing with the TV when Dude went berserk barking. I looked out and here comes a pickup truck up my drive with California plates. The passenger was a blonde lady, whom at first I thought was my friend Ann Ramirez. Not. This lady got out and said her sister used to own this house. Her sister and husband were the ones we bought it from. Cindy and her husband Don were up here visiting her sis in Grants Pass. We chatted. I invited them in, but they said no, but she did take a picture of the house. Really nice people. Her sister worked at the desk for the Rogue River Police. Jerry and the husband had a good time getting to know each other... drinking Jack Daniels on the front porch! So along comes another bid on the house, higher than ours, but the Reitz's said they wanted to sell to us! Anyway, interesting. Cindy's husband was worried when he saw my signs ....
Cindy told him, "Don't worry, Oregonians are nice people!"

What a sweet little boy he was. He so reminds me of JJ back then. He sure does look the same now, only bigger. :)
I was again reading about the death of Vic Morrow. That was the most horrific thing to have happened! I can't imagine what the parents of those two children suffered. All concerned got a HUGE amount of $$ but that doesn't replace a loved one.
I was telling John right now about the people who sold you the house and how they ignored the higher bid. He said that's what happened with Daryl's house. Nice! I told dad that it really pays to be friendly.
