Yesterday... Brian Jen Tucker and Sami came over to fish in the pond. They
got out all their gear and headed up to the pond....
They came almost right back. WHOPPEN??? Because of the draught there wasn't
much water in the dang pond! I gave Jen a little bag of cat food to throw on the
water to see if any fish were there.. Brian said he saw a little one surface.
Sigh... He took these photos with his camera...
This makes me sad. I hope we get rain soon as predicted!
Anyway, they stayed here for a bit while Tucker and Sami drove the golf
cart around and then headed to the park where Tucker could practice his casting.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

November 17th
National Homemade Bread Day
(Now this sounds like a plan!)
Bakers
of the world, rise up and bake some bread, for today is Homemade Bread Day.
Bread
has been made for thousands of years. Estimates date it's origin back to
5000-10,000 B.C. Modern day lifestyles has relegated homemade bread to the world
of specialty baking and holiday baking. People just don't have time to bake home
made bread. We turn to a quick "run" to bakeries and grocery stores, for our
bread needs. The arrival of automatic bread makers has created a small
resurgence of home made breads, especially specialty breads.
The
purpose of this day is easy to understand.--- to make home made bread, and to
encourage you and me to make tasty and nutritious bread. So, take a little time
out of your busy day, and make some bread. Your nose, your taste buds, and your
whole family will be glad you did.
Happy
Homemade Bread
Day!

Catalina- My favorite family vacation shot was taken there. The boys were young, but old enough to golf, snorkel and enjoy the buffalo blocking the tourist truck.
If I had Ms Hutton s looks and money- I would have fixed the tooth gap. But to explain the aesthetic, it is almost Amish in to allow a flaw is to pay homage to God. You don't have to be perfect to be his.
I love to bake bread... unfortunately, I bake- I eat- so I don't.
I know what you mean L, when I would bake bread we'd eat it all that day!
