Ok, you need a good laugh... and if you love dogs this will make you laugh out loud!! So funny!!!! Dog alarm clocks!
Thanks Dave Clark (LASD ret) for a GREAT video!!!

Yesterday I decided to do something with the rest of the green tomatoes... I though that first idea of the green tomato soup would work. So, I chopped the tomatoes, tossed them with garlic salt and oil, and roasted them in the oven for about 45 minutes. Chopped part of the giant zucchini, some celery, carrots, and fresh garlic. All went into the crockpot with more garlic salt and pepper and a box of chicken stock. Set it on high for 4 hours.

I added in sea salt and coarse black pepper and the last hour or so I added in about 2/3 cup of the rice medley.
This is OMGOOD !!!!! Perfect! I even gobbled down a bowl of it first thing this morning! Thanks Jeannie and Bill for all the tomatoes and the zucchini! Yummmmmmm........

The barn door guys were here, Rusty and John, and they framed up the door for the new smaller door. Pictures tomorrow...

Mike Hannan (Rogue River Fire Chief ret) came over to take care of my ginormous burn pile. He also cut down a small dead tree and disassembled the old trampoline frame and stacked wood on my porch for winter wood stove burning.
He will take the trampoline frame to the metal recycling place.

I feel soooo much better having a retired fireman take care of the burn pile... than anyone else!

Dude kept an eye on him and wanted to stay close. Dude even pee'd on the burn pile! DUDE!!!! Goof.  And Bruiser checked out his truck from top to bottom!

Then he went "hunting" wayyyyyyy up in the pasture... Funny boy, he came running when I called him!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

Oatmeal- what a gift that grain is. Everything from the garden is.

Oh that Brusier does make me laugh. He's too cute!
Oh yes a retired fireman is just the person to take care of the burning. That would be so scary otherwise.

Hope you put that video on PWL. I need a dog like that to wake Matthew in the morning. I wake him then he lies in his bed for a long time then goes in the bathroom and lies on the floor! Oh jeeeze! He's never missed the school bus tho. :)

I could almost taste that soup. I am cold right now so it sure sounds good for breakfast!
