Root Canal #2 ~ Dr. D. ~ Football ~ Spaghetti Casserole

Good 42º clear morning. Looks like after the weekend we may get some precip...

10-10 in radio code speak means "out of service, subject to call"

Yesterday was another fun dentist visit. Another root canal. UGH.

At least my dentist is good looking so that helps a lot~! He's good at what he does with a minimum of discomfort. Also the girls in his office are great! This is the doc and his wife from her FB page. He is Dr. Jeffery Dryden and Tina.

NFL quarterbacks who have thrown 50,000 + passing yards...John Elway, Dan Marino, Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and now Tom Brady! GO TOMMY!!!!

Speaking of football... last night's game:

Historically this date....

..........Good grief!

So disturbing. So sick. So so sad.

1973 – Vice President of the United States Spiro Agnew resigns after being charged with federal income tax evasion.

Dinner last night was a spaghetti casserole...

I put some oil and a little water in a pan. I broke off the ends of the asparagus where they gave and then cut the remaining into thirds. Put in the pan with the lid partially on and turned up the heat, so the water would steam and tenderize them and when that was evaporated the oil would give them a quick sauté. Drained. Broke about half the box of angel hair spaghetti into thirds and cooked that in salted boiling water. Drained.

I mixed the marinara sauce with the drained canned chicken and the asparagus.
In a 9x9 pan I put the cooked spaghetti, topped with lots of mozzarella cheese. That was topped with the marinara mixture and more cheese. Bake in 350º until done (about 45 minutes)

HEAVEN!!!!!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

I would love to make your spaghetti casserole but I have no asperagus. Do you think green beans would work?

What I want to know is WHY those wealthy lefties owe millions in taxes and nothing happens to them?? What's up with that crappola? HOW do they get away with it?

Trish, that recipe isn't written in stone. It was just what I had on hand. Yes, green beans would be good! Also broccoli or snap peas or bell pepper (leave it raw) or zucchini or peas. Use whatever works for you. xo
