Good 44º clear morning.
10-3 is a radio code for 'stop transmitting'
Speaking of radio codes, I got the book The Duck Theory, by ret. LASD Larry
Rupp. I started reading it Wednesday night. So far through the preface and Chapter 1.
Long chapters, but large print which is great for us old folks! Thanks
Larry!!!
I know Larry. I can't believe the horrendous life he had as a child.
Extreme discipline and lack of love.
The quail mom and babies are here. They come back every year.
I'm sure they nest over in the heavily wooded area. They used to nest near the
house in the grapevines. I miss their 'sounds'.
This is a great video..
In these pictures, 'mom' has gotten up high to keep and eye on
her babies... that is an old ancient snow plow I just kept for .... no reason..
yard art!
And here is the Bruise on a hunt...
AND.... here is Bruiser after he killed one of my birthday balloons!
This came from Gator... thanks for the hilarious video and the
laughter. Made my day!
This dog is not allowed on the bed. The owner installed a
camera. I couldn't stop laughing!!!
Today is a special birthday.. Jean Schumacher, mother to Jen, the other

Yesterday a construction guy, Stan, came to give me an estimate on new
barn doors.. His suggestion was like a garage door. He's also estimating the
cost of painting the barn. I have another painter I am going to get an estimate from too.
A busy driveway yesterday.... then came UPS Dave, FedEx Mike, and Mike and AJ
with All Natural Pest to take a caught ground squirrel and re-bait the bait
boxes in the barn and under the house. Of course Dude pee'd on UPS and All Natural Pest tires... Bruiser climbed in the UPS truck and also the pest guy's truck. Sigh....
Then... dinner. Some dill lemon smoked salmon, 4 cheese Rice a Roni with cheese, and veggies.
First I put the dry mushrooms in a pan with some water and a little olive
oil and heated it up. Turned off the heat and let them sit. Then into the
colander they went to drain while I cut up the zucchini and sauteéd it as well
as some of the broccoli/carrots/snap peas... then the mushrooms were squeezed
dry and sauteéd. The rice was cooking in the rice cooker.
All the vegetables were mixed together, added in chopped tomatoes, and the
rice. Last the spinach was stirred in ...
I topped the vegetables with the salmon ...OMGOOOD!
I watched a new show, Bad Judge, with Kate Walsh. She doles out weird
sentences, has sex with co-workers, drinks to excess, drives a ridiculous
airbrushed van, and wears clothing a hot teen would wear. I hated it. What a
piece of crap! Sorry.
Football last night...
Yeah Aaron Rodgers!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

Quail. I would like it if the quail came back. We have a lot more species visit here now- but their unmistakable call...
Glad you reviewed the Judge show. I came across it then realized I had some saved shows I would rather watch. She sounds like a piece of work! Glad I didn't stay tuned!
Oh that dog on the bed with the cat video was a hoot. He's gonna show them!! Funny when the cat batted at him. lol
Happy Birthday Grandma Jean!

My dislike of this show probably has a lot to do with my age...
