Good 44º somewhat cloudy morning.
I was by the back door and saw something drinking water from one of the water tubs back there. Looked
strange so I got real close to the curtain and it was a bird just like this
... It's a Northern Flicker.
Really neat looking. So I looked it up and found a site with the sounds they
make. I had heard these and wondered what they were...
This from Trish Bowler:
Here you go Mr. Klamm.....show your mokoko friends!

Tons of memories here. All those neat old cars!!! And look, no traffic!!!
So, yesterday.... gadz, after sleeping a little later and then the danged
computer (AOL) went haywire... I was in my PJ's til noon! Didn't get a lot done.
Too much socialization on one day (Sunday!) Cooked some boneless skinless
chicken thighs in the crockpot for Dude. Ordered an Alert 1 system for me. http://www.alert-1.com/ It's like Life
Alert, but a better deal. It hooks to my hard line phone and I will have a
bracelet with a button on it and will make me feel better if something should
happen...
"Help I've fallen and I can't reach my wine!"
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.

Last night John said to me "Sue is going to be upset". I asked why. He said because her Patriots lost. :(
What a neat old picture of the old L.A. Oh for that kind of traffic again!! :(
"They" say so many people are leaving California! One would never know it by the crowded freeways!
Glad you liked the Cow a Socky. :)
XO Trisha
I was upset, but not as upset at the Patriots themselves! Dang! xo
Hi Sue, we have Flickers up here as well, they go along the drive way and flower beds eating bugs, we like the little bib on their chest...Dave and Pam
So glad to hear you have the alarm system ordered, you do need one out there by yourself. Dude can only do so much, even with his tummy stuffed with delicious chicken thighs! GloW
Hey GloW, glad to hear your trip so far has been somewhat uneventful... re the ladder! Miss you already. xo
